  8. HI ian Got some plain walnut veneer,only about 5 inches wide but 6 foot long ,must be 10 or more sheets .Quite thin Any use

  10. Easy composites do a Glass cast resin. Can be used as a pouring resin to give a glass top. Brilliant stuff ,bubbles just disappear and it can be cast up u 16mm thick

  12. Hi Steve I'm sure I have a log of Swedish whitebeam somewhere and what I think is sugar maple
  13. Iv'e always preferred air dried mainly because I can't see the point of kiln drying to something like 8% and then putting it in the shed for it to take on moisture again, Plus air dried works better
  14. ive found the best stuff to use is glasscast by easy composites You can pour it on up to 15mm thick and leaves a finish like glass 1KG goes a long way Attached is a picture of the resin in use but it doesn't show how glasslike it is [/img] [/img]
  15. Couldn't get a mould in this country that fits the pen so used a piece of pvc tubing
  16. Sierra type pen made from Alder cones and epoxy resin with gold mica powder Cast by myself
