  2. Might sound a daft question but how much timber would you expect a mobile sawmill to cut in a day, i'm trying to work out wether it's worth me getting one in for a day

Hi Mate Catch 22 for you i'm afraid,put the fish in a new pond and they won't survive put them in an established pond and they might get diseased My pond is 3200 gals and been established for 15 years Gravity fed to a vortex and filter the fed up to a small top pond and down a gravel stream with water cress in it,back to main pond I'll post a pic when I get chance to find one

  14. stoney cove do a good padi course and its not too far for you I live about 1/2 mile away from there and my lad did the padi course there

  20. Beautiful wood to work with but it splits like mad especially when the sun gets on it
  21. Wouldn't worry about the worm you can treat it but it's a lovely piece of timber my worry would be how far the spalting has rotted the wood I would persevere with such a beautifull piece of timber
  22. Poolewood 28/40 Had to have my motor rewound but then i got a complete lathe with chuck and sets of jaws for £102 on ebay
  23. Keep your eyes open for an old poolewood 28/40 they last years and are sturdy pieces of kit I have 2 Keep one for spares
