  1. Interesting thread. My Nephew just graduated from college here in the States, he has a degree in graphic arts. He has been on unemployment for at least 70 weeks. It shall be running out soon, I hope!. He clears $404.00 per week while still attending school. He has had several job interviews and I heard of one firm willing to offer him a entry level position starting pay $8.00 per hour!. Now he feels pretty sad about that since he could be making that working retail. His mom thinks the employers are holding out on him?. She believes that he should start at $25.00 per hour. I asked my sister when she started in the school system 23 years ago did she tell the school how much she was worth or did she start with what was offered and work her way up from there?. Of course that was different than and does not apply now for her son with no actual work experience, other than a recommendation from the dean at the college. Problem is most folks these days really don't have a clue how much they are worth and have been brain washed into believing their own value is so much higher than what the market will bare. Most folks I know work Two jobs and the ones that own and run their own business make incredible sacrifices from a personal and financial stand point on a daily basis. It is a pity that reality and common sense are no longer available at any level of education. I would say more but I am tired and my rant is over, for now! easy-lift guy
  2. This sounds like a pissing contest to me:sneaky2:. WADR I would never pea on my mates shirt for one thing, and actually I have never heard of such a practice before today:confused1: Science aside here in the Sunshine State we dress according to the heat and humidity and drink lots of water. Keeping ones back of the neck covered while out in the sun is very important since this area along with your wrist are heat receptors. I find that cold water run over both of these areas during a break very helpful:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  3. Thanks for the correction are either named bird a scavenger or predator or both:confused1: easy-lift guy
  4. Here In Florida, Buzzards like the Turkey buzzard are pretty much at the top of the food chain as well. Other than Crows, Ravens and Black birds, all scavengers over here for the most part the Buzzard has a monopoly on road kill removal. I have seen other birds chase Buzzards out of their specific air space, but never seen nest raided or the like. As stated earlier Buzzards are lazy and prefer to wait for their meals to be served to them. easy-lift guy
  5. Could be a fashion statement:sneaky2:, I thought she needed it for tree work:001_huh: easy-lift guy
  6. I would suggest starting a Kit replacement fund ASAP, you will continue to be plagued with problems like the one you are presently having as long as you continue to use home owner junk to earning a living:sneaky2: If you choose to be professional at least buy the proper kit and work smarter not harder:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  7. I don't understand why so many tree attract NAILS!!!. God knows I have had my share over the years with various chains and one bar wasted. Should be a law against them dang things. Feel much better. easy-lift guy
  8. It sounds like your situation could do for an ELH. Although I know of several members that own and use my product, there is One complaint, that is they wished they had purchased theirs sooner!. If you have any other questions pm me and I will be happy to answer and help any way I can. easy-lift guy
  9. Over here we triple rince with bleach or pool chlorine. Not to expensive, murder on dark clothing though. Works fine otherwise. easy-lift guy
  10. Steve, I have to admit the thought had not crossed my mind, LOL. easy-lift guy
  11. With a Easy-Lift Harness you could of had a Quinella and have completed the task far safer and been in complete control of that unruly Power Pole Saw!, just a thought of course. easy-lift guy
  12. Please set a proper example for your son and encourage him to understand that our bodies although resilient are very fragile at best. Wearing any and all protective gear is a Good Habit to start as young as possible, here in the states we have an expression " like father like son". At least in the future when your Son gets out on his own and the next generation of skyhucks appear they will brag about grand pa skyhucks, teaching me how it was done once upon a time!. What a bed time story that would be easy-lift guy
  13. Could be for real?, obviously a pilot program of some sort. Sounds like good exposure but like any other reality show how far one will go for ratings remains to be seen? I hope it is legit and some members try out and make the final cut. easy-lift guy
  14. I continue to read in utter discontent and amazement one story after another like this one. Since I don't have any skin in the game per say I have no real problem with calling a spade a spade in my country or here, I think?. Anyway I am still wondering to this day what is the breaking point for the people of Britian?. Are the suspected accused so untouchable that they may be allowed to continue this undeterred rampage against anyone and everyone in your country??. With all the challenges we face on a day to day basis in our mutual country's this reoccurring pox against your selfs must end some how some way. With a membership as large as AT is it not possible to pull the combined resources of said organization and others of like mind to make your voices know to the rest of the citizens of your country?. I welcome other comments since this problem is not going away on it's own. easy- lift guy
  15. You are correct and pray to God you never do. We have poison Ivey, Oak, and sumac here and depending on how sensitive your skin is it can be mild to extremely painful:thumbdown:' also the Mango tree is in the same family as well, keep the pitch or sap off of your skin at all cost. Stay safe:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  16. You are correct. Very busy time over here as well, however to the credit of my vendors here any warranty work gets pushed forward and back to the customer ASAP. easy-lift guy
  17. Some folks are Ignorant, other are Jealous and some others are just plain Stupid. Don't let them get your goat. Your provideing a service that they either cannot or will not ever understand or appreicate. I have the same issues with some folks with my product, especially at shows. I politely demo the product for them and answer their question and after I have had my full of their silly comments or non clever remarks I send them down to the next booth for some better chocolate candies since I am fresh out:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  18. If I am not mistaken this substance was used as a type of truth serum during WW II by the Germans?, perhaps by all sides if it was available?? easy-lift guy
  19. Having start a thread like this is so important for yourself and the many members and family members that have had and will get Cancer in one form or another. From a personnel note I lost both parents to Cancer long ago and in my fathers case he did have both chemo and radiation treatments. I believe once you start either one of these treatment regiments your appetite will drop in a big way. This is normal and you will have to force yourself to keep your calorie intake as high as possible. Also you will notice that food taste different as well, again a side affect from the treatments. There will be many who will keep you and your family in our prayers and hoping for a swift and positive outcome. Your not alone, ESP since your a part of a rather large family! easy-lift guy
  20. Good for you dean. Looks like the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow turned out to be a nice saw and case after all. easy-lift guy
  21. Why thanks Hodge, I resemble that. If I make APF in September I shall get Steve a quart. If he makes it over for TCIA this year I will make it a gallon. Thanks Steve for all your efforts. easy-lift guy
  22. Unsolicited testimonial advertising is PRICELESS:thumbup1: Well Done! easy-lift guy
  23. An informed consumer is your best customer to deal with for the most part. I have found that if your honest and up front with the customer in the first place you know where you stand from that point forward, less drama. easy-lift guy
