  11. Agreed, I suggested this over a year ago and either the manufactures are lazy or complicit in regards to this on going situation. The need to properly ID each piece of equipment being sold and brought in for repair and released after repair is long over due. I suspect it will be up to the dealers to handle the matter as best they can. Justin, I have specific counter measures to consider if you wish, please pm me if you want to hear me out. easy-lift guy
  12. He did say he was sorry! easy-lift guy

  14. Keep your powder dry silky fox, more to come and so much more never reported, caught or prosecuted:thumbdown::thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  15. This situation is the price many pay for new technology, particularly when land lines become fewer and fewer every day. It is only natural for the con artist to take advantage of this situation. It always helps to have a land line if for no other reason than to field calls and to a lesser extent text messages. easy-lift guy
  16. Preety much all over this high preassure ridge over the mid section of the country is really hammering the bulk of the country. If your headed to the NE or Mid-West be ready for a dry heat, if your head my neck of the woods it will be a Moist heat with High Humidity. West and South west just plain on fire:sneaky2: If your headed to the Sunshine State PM me, will get together, O and bring or buy some Sun Screen, You will defo need it:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  17. Yep your right Rob, the Poor Northerners are really having a bad time with the heat Here in the Sunshine State it is business as usuall, we have plenty of excess heat ATM so I will try to forward some better weather your way ASAP. easy-lift guy

  20. Czlowiek, I believe what likeitorlumpit means is that you have a good thing going ATM and cutting out not cutting up your supplier for sub work may not be a good idea? You can be the only judge of that if it works for you. If your decision is worth the risk, its yours to make. I am sure you have done your homework and have determined going direct is better for you? easy-lift guy
  21. The fact of the matter and to your credit and everyone else's replies to this thread for the most part, We as a industry Don't give up. Everyone sooner or later has one of them days or week or months, where a series of events come around and create a perfect storm of sorts. Andy, your right about your health without it one really has nothing. I have been blessed and have had good health and a good working life. I only have about 1/2 the buying power of what I had 20 years ago, yet I am greatful and stilling doing my best to serve my customers. easy-lift guy
  22. Considering the likely weather at any given time in the UK, has this show or others like it ever been consided for a indoor venue?. I understand that some aspects would have to be adjusted for walking tours and such. With present day video and audio capabilities I wonder why this has not been used in the past?. Has it been a money issue or a rules and regs issue?. Here state side many shows for either ISA or TCIA are mainly indoors to accommodate the vendors and visitors. Climbing competition are even held indoors as well along with demos of equipment and kit, within reason. Just wondering. Other thoughts or observations welcomed. easy- lift guy
  23. Steve, you better watch it now the meter is running and I think your not going to get off with a discount:sneaky2: Have a nice weekend. easy-lift guy
  24. Hey Jon: which Williams sister was that? If it was the one that has a mouth on her and says threading remarks to the judges, she lost any respect from me and many other tennis fans. US tennis fans had enough with Mackenrow making a fool out of himself when he thought he was top banana. easy-lift guy
  25. It seems to be a matter of principle on the part of Czlowiek that is the bone of contention?. I believe since you presently have work as a sub-contractor you will carry on as is, for now. You may not like your present relationship and in time you will change that situation. Of course many folks don't have work on both sides of the pond. Nothing better than having more work, how one manages afterwards is the real trick! easy-lift guy
