  1. I know Adam is his real name since I have been trying to get his brothers autograph for over a year. Adam told me that if he has been trying to get that same autograph himself, but Jason warned him that if he gave his signature to anyone they would have to disapear. I think I will hold off on that Autograph thing for a much later date easy-lift guy

  15. Greetings fellow members, I really had a Grand time this year at the APF and to all the members that stopped by FR Jones & Son to visit and try on the ELH thanks a lot . I can honestly say that out of the many shows I have partisapated in over the years this show had by far the most significant meaning to myself as a vendor and a fellow member. Thanks to all that really made my stay very special and memorable. All the best. Ted Scovitch AKA, easy-lift guy
  16. Try visiting your local arts and crafts store and see if you can purchase battery powered clock works and clock face. I have used Southern Red Cedar here state side to make clocks. Cut the logs into 2 or 3" slabs and run them through a planer. Determin the center of each slab and drill your pilot hole. Rout out the backside of the slab and install the clock works and affix the numbers to the face side. I have put a coat of varnish or polyurethane over the face of these types of clocks and they make great gifts or sale items. All the best. easy-lift guy
  17. I once had a customer who had trouble starting a fire in her fireplace. Now this customer was ok to start with but by the time this last incident took place I had had enough. It seems she was just old and lonely. Nothing wrong with the wood she just needed the reasurrance from her firewood supplier that there was no problem. When I left her house I knew there was nothing really wrong. It just really stinks when folks get older and their neighbors and family either don't care or are passed on. easy-lift guy
  18. I agree Reddog. The saw would cost more in the UK, but I suspect the ownership may be to much of a burdon is purchased in the USA. easy-lift guy
  19. Prank phone calls and "shock jocks" have been a staple of radio listeners lives for many years here stateside. Some are funny, others are not. IMHO this prank was only done for one thing, RATINGS!. When the rest of the media got wind of this prank gone wrong they could smell and taste the blood in the water and wasted no time creating a story based on celebrity. In today's society it is a shame that the media chooses to get it jollies by no longer reporting the news but creating it to fit a particular narrative. I don't know the state of mind of the nurse that took this prank call. Not my place to judge what she did or how she died. There are consequences for all of our actions in life. Some folks are really selfish and are prone to push the envelope all the time to help deal with any number of things going on. I hope the family of the nurse who died will be able to cope and better understand in time what has happened. easy-lift guy
  20. Fantastic!. The power of the Human Spirit, should never be taken for granted, mind over body comes to mind. Thanks for sharing, very Inspirational to say the least. easy-lift guy
  21. Dean, I had a saw just like that model shown. It lasted this ground dweller all of 3 months. Was not able to find anyone locally to repair when it gave up the ghost. Although I did get my $$$$ worth it was just barely. All the best. easy-lift guy
  22. Coletti, the funny thing about confidence is that it can become addictive. Being aware of your kit and how it works will serve you well. Pacing yourself and with life in general will have a profound affect on your future as a climber, take it from a ground dweller. You will do well, the membership would have it no other way! easy-lift guy
  23. I once had my 94 Ford Ranger backed into while parked along a side road. Old Bat said she never saw my truck?, IMO she never looked. Anyway there was no frame damage and due to the age of the truck no replacement bed to be found, the truck was totaled. One year later still driving truck and watching out for Old farts behind the wheel targeting my Ranger. Tort and or Insurance reform is in order on both sides of the pond. If caps on personnel injury and damage to vehicles were in place the insurance companies would be forced to be fair and not take advantage of the system. Of course the attorneys representing either side would not be in favor so Too bad! easy-lift guy
  24. I do have other plans for the ELH, however as much as I like to share I am not a liberty to disclose other future uses of the ELH for now. I can say that all future applications would be practical and useful. easy-lift guy
  25. 2 months of food and water, spare meds, lumber, rope, candles, food supplements, many sharp things axes and hand saws, fire wood and extra matches. Won't bore everyone with means of self protection for myself and family. easy-lift guy
