  1. Afternoon Jon: My 94 Ranger is still my daily drive at 348000 miles. I am the Second owner and it has served me well with the original engine and transmission. These trucks were made so well that Ford dropped the production I believe in the US Market in 2002. Not one of Fords better ideas:thumbdown: I believe this truck would be well suited for the type of work your local folks go through day to day. easy-lift guy
  2. Jon, Clipped wings aside when will we see Mrs. Logs first post, what will be her handle?. Inquiring minds must know these things for official AT records. easy-lift guy
  3. Happy Birthday Jon, Manny Happy returns, Beware of Cows sticking their heads through your windows!. Ted
  4. Contact Jonsie, from FR Jones & Son. Have a nice weekend. easy-lift guy
  5. Coming up with an original idea is one thing. Building off existing technology to create a better mouse trap is another. Having a business plan in place and all the desire and patience in the world......Priceless:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  6. Going well. Hope to catch up with the wrecking crew at the next APF. Ted, I mean easy-lift guy
  7. John your to modest. You have broad shoulders, I have the upmost confidence in you:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  8. Thanks Stubby. Richard1234, I believe your investment will help reduce the amount of stress and strain that you have had to deal with in the past especially with regard to your shoulder issue. I have had many customers ask the same questions and after trying and purchasing the ELH. These same customers would thank me the following year at the same trade show explaining how they were able to resume work again. I remember one Lady was nearly in tears thanking me since she was able to work with her hedger again after not being able to for years. I have many satisfied and happy customers on AT and around the world so I hope you will be amoung the many able to resume working with reduced stress and strain and of course less pain as well. All the best easy-lift guy
  9. Falcon from Marvel comics Winter Soldier would have been proud. I guess with all the product placement shots on this video Dubai is not really to concerned about any no fly zones. Sure would have like to see them land. easy-lift guy
  10. Wow, stupid is as stupid does. Looks like the saw bar was pinched and the operator was attempting to hold on to the saw while the log was being grappled by another operator. Poor planning and little or no fore thought:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  11. Skyhuck is just as he has described. Shoots from the hip and takes no guff from anyone. A good man:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  12. Try googling Monsanto and you should be able to find a dealer or distributor. Make sure you purchase 41% Concentrate, and never the premix unless you have more ££££ than brains. easy-lift guy
  13. Shoot. I can have the whole area cut and raked out clean in maybe 3 hours if I work really slow:sneaky2:. Wish I was closer, I could make an example out of that area PDQ. BTW, you will have to continue to treat with some sort of herbicide going forward depending on the depth of the wood chip and surrounding vegetative material creeping in to chipped area. Take care. easy-lift guy
  14. Agreed, however what ever Man has created nature has countered every time. Weed seeds can and will root and sprout on top on any weed membrane or plastic on the market in time. Even if you use a pre emergent before mulch is applied the affects of this product will soon wear thin if not repeated on a regular cycle. easy-lift guy
  15. I would recommend against the cutting down of turf area as short as possible since this act will defeat the purpose of the job your attempting to accomplish. Leaving as much surface area as possible for the material to coat is key to the act of smothering the turf to death. Another tip I would suggest would be adding 1 ted spoon of dishwashing liquid per gal of H2o with your herbicide. This surfacant will increase the smothering ability of the herbicide and lead to a faster kill off of the turf. On the other hand if your really in a hurry to get this job done have you considered a sod or turf cutter from a rental company?, not a manual model either. Based on the area in question you may find it cheaper and far faster than any chemical means if time is that important. easy-lift guy
  16. Seriously consider the pre emergent for actual control of future growth. The more time you spend working harder for less the less time you could be spending working smarter for £££. Work smarter, not harder. easy-lift guy
  17. Hand cultivation may be your only solution for the mean time. You may want to consider a liquid pre emergent like Surflan to spray the beds after your hand cultivation is completed. The pre emergent will kill the seeds of the weeds your trying to control, however make sure the weeds your trying to control are listed for the product you choose. Also remember that if these same plants are reseeded by existing desirable plant material the pre emergent may do just as much harm as good. Mulching the planter beds also will help retain moisture and make weed seed growth less likely from occurring. easy-lift guy
  18. Yes, your box was full. I would blame my computer, however that would not be fair! Take care. easy-lift guy
  19. Computers have saved time, to a point reduced stress levels for myself and my working life. Sometimes business life seemingly could be easier with out computers, however short of a total failure of the internet computers and new technology will be with us for some time to come. easy-lift guy
  20. The OP is on the cutting edge of this virgin technology. When it comes to this industry the amount of time that companies will be able to save and convert into actual working time will be extraordinary. From an estimating standpoint the number of trips to and from clients could be limited to a Drone with a GoPro attached. This video could be down loaded for the estimator and customer to review on line and than the price can be forwarded to the customer by email. If approved by the governing bodies in the UK the days of wasted trips to and from customers for bids may soon be a thing of the past! Working smarter, not harder is more than a slogan. Its a way of life for those that choose wisely. easy-lift guy
  21. Happy Easter to you Jon, family and the members of AT. easy-lift guy
  22. Contact the Corporate HQ for minimum requirements required as a vendor, and or request a specifications sheet or scope of work requested by vendors. Sorry if my American does not translate out well enough. Contractors usually contact Corporate 1st and get all answers there. easy-lift guy
  23. So what if any difference is there between the term travelers and gangs? Seems pretty much the same to me. FYI, here stateside shoes tied together and hanging down from phone or power lines is marking of ones territory or criminal activity. Watch your back folks and keep your powder dry. easy-lift guy
