  1. well said this is exactly why i got out of GM and into arb a good pedestrian mowers going to cost as much as a 660 not some crap thing out of B&Q for £99 quid your triple does a hose at least £80 fitting it yourself GM is an expensive ball ache compared to arb people cut their own grass and hedges and think whats hard about that not many attempt a dismantle or felling and when they cant do something they are inclined to think the jobs worth more
  2. we just take the pump out get all the crude off blow it through put it back together sorted never needed a new pump they just get blocked up and their easy to do

  8. tried that with mine but found it didn't hang right so put an old prussic loop around the handle then through the ring then attached the strop to the loop so if the ring gives out its backed up around the handle if that makes sense

  16. it is narrow narrow enough to get an artic up there the pot holes are fairly large but you can drive round them

  19. that's probably with no ramps and mesh sides all these bits and pieces increase the unladen weight
  20. from what you have described perhaps they never serviced your chipper at all it may have just got overlooked and someone thought it had been done it may be worth mentioning all the things that aren't done it could be a genuine mistake
  21. ours does as well that's with mesh sides and the ramps on board we have only one vehicle that can legally tow it and that's only within 50KM
  22. we have a right of way alley at the back of our house we don't own it council don't own it highways don't own it contacted land registry no documentation to say who owns it but they said someone owns it but just not registered
  23. if he's going to climb up and use a sling and pulley non retrievable he may as well carry on doing what he's doing and save his money
  24. maybe just put a karabiner and pulley on the small ring if its a swing cheek the sewn end probably won't go through it on retrieval job done
  25. even if it won't go through the small ring on a cambium saver surly it must go through the large ring in which case you can retrieve it you rope needs to go unsliced end through the large ring first or am i misunderstanding something here
