try putting the remote plug in the trailer like normal then push the cable into the fitting to make contact, it happens to ours now and again

I've claimed it and got tax rebate for 5years £40 and tax code adjusted for this year it works out i save a pound a month on tax better than nothing

we have one of these tippers and its just been in to ford for a recall on something to do with the tipper electrics done FOC worth asking at a ford dealer we was told make sure it's switched off at isolator as before repair they can tip on their own accord due to water ingress hope this helps
