  1. update, took the trailer along to the local Ifor dealer, they said we will give you a call in 3 weeks, 3 WEEKS I SAID, after a sharp intake of breath.. this was after i showed mechanic the fault. i mean is it normal for someone to take 3 weeks to fault trace a defect ? its hardly rocket science is it.
  2. maybe try brake cleaner, aka tricolorothene, sold in auto shops for removing brake dust, also removes sticky labels etc,
  3. Hi and many thanks for the replies so far, i have been in touch with ifor, and its in the process of a warranty/goodwill gesture all being well, so when the dealer over here has looked at it, i will let you know the findings, but for a part to fail after so little use then this not normal and could suggest a parts quality problem. i,ll keep you informed as to the outcome.
  4. thanks for the replies, so far i have checked and cleaned the battery terminals, re-tightened them, checked the wander lead function and the input and output voltage at the isolater switch,- (red key) so far everything checks out good
  5. Hi folks i,m new to this forum thing , so please forgive me if i have posted in the wrong place. i got a Ifor tt85 g tipper brand spanking new in 2010, electric tip. to deliver loose bark in bulk loads, so not much weight, actually its only ever tipped less than 40 times since new, all was going well till the other day then it will no longer tip,no warning it just stopped, so i checked the battery charge. all ok, it will descend no problem on the button, but raise it will not. the only thing it is raising right now is a sweat every time i need to unload it and my temper. any ideas to help me solve the puzzle ?
