  1. How long do you leave it on tick over? I was told not to do this because the Auto Tune starts to, well auto tune. Then I won't pick up fast when you squeeze the trigger again. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Jensen are a better machine in every way (except for the black fuel tanks. Lol) Also, Redwood's backup is exemplary. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. I would too, if I wasn't so tragically awful with a throw line. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. Apparently it's good, as a lanyard positioner. It's not SRWP specific though. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. Are you sticking with a DdRT system. If so, wait for the Zig Zag to come out. If you're looking to SRWP, get a Hitch Climber. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. Stick to a brand that has a dealer or service agent in your region but only if they have a good stock if spare parts. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. A tree felling game. Low points are awarded for felling onto power lines, pedestrians etc. High points are awarded for felling onto caravans, Transit vans with spotlights etc etc.
  8. Never mind the problems, I'm sure they are only teething problems. Today I had a problem with my A540di so I called Matt Smith (Redwood) and explained the problem. It's Saturday so Redwood were closed but Matt talked me through a few suggestions. His first idea worked! Now that is good service and that's why I will keep buying Redwood chippers!
  9. Brilliant! 😂😂 I'll be treating myself to nothing because if it snows I'll be trapped at home. During those bleak days the iPad & Paypal get a beating! 😱 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. Very wet and windy. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  11. Sounds like Arbutus to me. Strawberry tree. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. Have a look at this thread. Still using it and it is superb for accuracy. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/56209-big-shot-set-up-2.html
  13. I'd find a good metal worker to make you some aluminium ones. That way the bit that goes under the arch of your foot will be the perfect length and the ankle strap will hold it in just the right place. It will cost you a bit more but they should last your climbing career and you only need to change the uppers and straps. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. Dark. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. That should buff out! 😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. "The sheriff is a (the bell rings)!" "Qualifications?" "Rape, murder, arson and rape" "You said rape twice" "I like rape!" And just about every other quote from Blazzin' Saddles. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. Five year warranty! Buy one defo. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. Treatment of staff is a very tricky thing to find a happy medium. If you are really nice to them all the time they get used to it as they forget what it was like being treated like a skivvy. They then start to expect more and in turn, feel under valued. There is then no room for the employer to manoeuvre because he already does his best. I know that treating them like dirt, making them scared of you and making them feel like they'll be sacked at any moment produces a good result for the business. However, I'm a small business and work on site with my staff. I enjoy a calm atmosphere so I try to be nice to the guys but it has ended badly for me almost every time. 19. Same with me. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  20. After getting an Arb education it takes about 3-5 yes of full time climbing to become a decent tree surgeon. Most people never achieve it IMO. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. One came out to me on demo several months ago and I was we'll impressed. The towable one. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. Good luck. The industry is swamped with tree surgeons, 'tree surgeons', gardeners who do tree surgery, cowboys, scumbags and gypos. It's tricky to find a job, very hard to find a job with someone who actually knows why they at doing. Most don't know how to do it properly and don't know that they don't know. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. Yesterday at 3:40pm a metal hanging basket bracket went through my chipper and shifted the fly wheel! Not good. I dropped it off at Arbrep at 7:30am today and drove away with one of their rental chippers as Charles said mine would be a couple of days because he's pretty busy. However, just as I finished work this afternoon Charles called to say that my chipper was ready for collection already. Brilliantly fast! Of course, next time I'll expect him to fix it before it breaks.:laugh1:
  24. What he said. Hahahahaa! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  25. It's good. Looking forwards to the development. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
