  1. I thought it was only though mobile phone signal, so if you haven't got any sort of service across any of the network providers you can't use 112. A neighbour works for the EA, when they work in the remote mid wales mountains area they have a satellite phone as part of their RA.
  2. Phone numbers and postcodes of hospitals in the areas your going to be working in
  3. I've been having the same problem with Croydon over the last few weeks
  4. Of course they are, I bet there's more to follow though.
  5. 5k, rebuilding a transfer box and having a recon gearbox fitted on a 10 ton iveco 4x4 lorry
  6. Audi and Skoda have been up to the same tricks as well apparently.
  7. Bookies have got England 3/1 and wales at 10/1. Their not often wrong but at 10/1 wales are worth a few quid.
  8. It was the old blue book if I remember correctly, weren't the list on the back ?
  9. Mark, without reading all the posts, are both the clutch springs ok ? Once you put the clutch back on, put the bar and chain back on, it does itself up with use
  10. I teach x3 diameter tails ?
  11. If you were heading down a forestry route I thought you done 10 & 11 and if you were going into arb you done 20 and 21. The 21 element did give you bar and a half so strictly it would be 30 and 32 in modern times.
  12. It would be CS 30, 31, 38 and 39.
  13. Chainsawbars.co.uk
  14. I've got 3 sugihara lightweight bars, on a 200T, 540xp and a 372xp. Go for one, You won't regret buying it.
  15. Hi Justin, I'd expect the old CS30, maintenance and cross cutting to cover it from an insurance point of view.
  16. Well said Mick.
  17. Cresto webbing chainsaw lanyard that Sorbus sell for me, I've never got on with the bungee type.
  18. Had my 540 for over 2 years now and apart from having to replace a split impulse hose about 3 months ago I cant say a bad word about it. I've got 3 x Ms200t's to choose from, one being brand new and unused but I prefer the 540.
  19. I bet that was one hell of a night, give me a shout next time and I'll bring the Stella's
  20. I run a Sugi hara lightweight on my 540, forget comparing the weight to the techlite because as Mark says they are utter rubbish.
  21. Just been on the news that the pilot is fighting for his life, hope he pulls through.
  22. Happy birthday Timon
  23. What stem injection equipment have people found the best ?
  24. I use stihl chains, I did use full chisel but when i clipped the saw up on my harness it started ripping the guts out of the back right leg of my trousers when climbing so I've gone back to semi chisel. Try the Sugi hara bars aswell, first class.
  25. It's a shame you've had a bad experience with the 540. How did that rear mount get broken ? I've heard of guys getting saws pinched in a cut and trying to pull them out and bending the rear spring
