3. No problem. Speak then
4. Bird in hand better than 2 in bush???????
5. We run a boiler on soft wood. Runs perfectly and reaches hotter temps than run on hardwood... Both vey well seasoned..
6.
Hi. Have load beech I can get hold of £1450 delivered.

7. Have my own lorry so would collect in artic 25-6 ton at time or 3 bays x3m
8. Would be interested in all you have.. Not far from you either.. I'd prefer it in 10 ft lengths or bigger. But not smaller.. 10's preferably..
9. No someone who did that. Two days later his barn full hay, straw burnt to ground!!
10. I could prob find up to 10 agricultural machines on eBay that are all scams, tractors, grain trailers, implements etc..
11. Depends whether its just for access or near where timber will be loaded. If the later at least 25 ft.
12. Had my 880 with 5 ft bar stolen few weeks ago. Back pack blower, pole and hand held hedge cutter. Luckily they couldn't get in my big safe with had 4 660's 2 441's and 3 200t's.. Two of which are still in box new and unused. I'd a been pissed off if they got that lot..
13. I'd be interested in your loads. I'm up your way a lot. Pm me with what you have and how much. Thanks
14. Ha. I was meaning artic load. Hard enough getting hold fresh felled timber!!
15. If it were I'd be keeping hold of it. Don't think there's load seasoned wood for sale anywhere in uk!!!
16. Hello mate.. A full artic load timber split and delivered to your door would be £2550. From that you will get roughly 50 cubic metres split wood. So most builders bags are 0.8 cubic metres. Which means there would be just over £1500 left for you. Although you have to buy the bags which you should get back from customer. I think £65 a bag is to cheap. That's a trade price that I would charge someone locally if they were selling on again.. Really wants to be at least £75 a bag... And that's ex your yard. More if your delivering. Basically I'm charging you for 2 men for 3 days to process the load, very small amount on top for processor hire which is no where near what it would cost you to hire one for 3 days then haulage to your yard.. A load cord wood would cost you £1600 load delivered. Question is is it worth the hassle to split said load for the extra £950 Takes 2 men 5-6 days to split same load using chain saw and log splitter and my guys been doing it for yrs We supply lot garden centres other builders etc who can sell and deliver firewood easily just don't have time to split it. My no is 07767480117 if you want to give me call.
17. Be back out in my lorry in few weeks. Can sort anyone out but if your not charging in excess of £100 a cubic metre your not gonna like the new prices. All my suppliers put there prices up..
18. Would you be interested in a 25 ton load split hardwood delivered in bulker and tipped so you can bag them yourself. Could bag them this end but would cost more obviously and not sure I'd get them all on a flat trailer. Also can get load back from Bristol easily in bulker.. Would be regular supplier of same mix wood also..
19. We have got through several thousand litres this autumn... More prob. My cousin was on his 4 th pallet last week. Think there's over 1200litres on pallet. Crops would be useless without it..
20. What have you to pick up and where from. Can do it in week or so in artic??? Is this Tom... Northampton firewood????
21. Pm sent
22. I buy 10 chains from my stilhl agent. Buy 10 or more and they half price. Less than £4.. Get through several then sharpen on a chain saw on wet day.
23. Any thing with a land rover badge will come no where near a land cruiser for power or reliability. How many range rovers you see with 250000 miles on clock... Very very few... Look at price of an 02 plate range rover to same yr land cruiser.. We have a 99 and a 2007 amazon.. They will be going when same year land or range rover in scrap yard..
24. Don't think the shortage is through lack of felling licenses. Down here its cos no one could get out most of the autumn and winter to harvest any timber as was too wet so any cord that was stock piled went very quickly. Where there's normally min of 500 ton cut at any one time they are bringing loads out and they are going straight away...(where I buy from).
