  1. It’s hard work keeping up with the joneses isn’t it ?.
  2. Has anyone used one of these. How does it compare to a standard road saw- feel like it could be easier to use and more versatile- due to increased plunge depth- certainly the videos look good.
  3. Lock diff lock perhaps.
  4. Exactly my thoughts. The fact that everyone will be in the same boat will eliminate any ‘grey’ areas eligible for abuse.
  5. I think I get about 40k miles out of my BFG muds. Obviously fronts wear quicker than rears. I put a full set on and then when the fronts wore out I put the old rears on the front and put the new pair on the rear...
  6. I have BFGs mud terrains on my defender. Seem to last a long time, I find them perfectly acceptable for road use too and have never had any issues towing my 2.8t digger around on them. my theory is that if that little extra grip over ATs is what gets you out of a muddy field on a rainy Friday evening then I’d sooner that then a bit more road noise or whatever...
  7. Love Chris Rea, road to hell is his classic and rightfully so, but this one gets me everytime.
  8. I have a Nilfisk. Not top end model, think it was a shade over £200 . Anyway it keeps cutting out all the time- has done from new. Tried all sorts to stop it doing it but.....
  9. I’d have thought that was a good price for that...
  10. Looking good- I doubt you’ll look back now!
  11. Fair play Beau- that’s superb- sorry no idea what it is- but must have taken some working out to get the right measurements for the panels to fit the circumference symmetricallly.
  12. Tax deductible, but still got to be paid for. I’d have thought they’d lose too much money over a 5 yr period? Actually this I wouldn’t mind if u could be guaranteed 5 years hassle free motoring. I’d be pissed of having spent £25k on a new truck only to have issues with the dealer passing the buck. I bought a Discovery for £1500 a few weeks ago as a bit of a laugh/back up vehicle. So far no probs and can’t foresee any but worse case it’s never really going cost me any serious money/grief.
  13. You wouldn’t say that about the Landcruiser Amazon. I’d love a late 90s model. To be fair you have a point, my 2x 300tdis don’t have bundles of power but it has been dragging a 3 ton digger round for the last ten years and it’s still going now, I’d sacarifice a bit of power for reliability and longevity.
  14. More people probably die from the winter flu then covid-19? Is a virus every now and again a bad thing?
  15. Havn’t read the whole thread so might have already been linked but...? It’s agrilinc who are selling it... SAME SILVER 130 Tractor, 4wd, 2004, 40k, Air Con, Front weights WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for SAME SILVER 130...
  16. I have the NPORS ticket- never been asked to see it mind!
  17. Flippin idiot- should have left him to it. Why on earth should others put their lives at risk to save him. Stupidity shouldn’t be rewarded.
  18. Just the 300. The 100 you paid the lad you can claim as an expense. You only pay tax on profit.
  19. I’m trying to fit a tilting grading bucket to my Takeuchi TB125. Trouble is the controls for the tilt are on buttons on the joystick and no flow control- just max flow when it’s pressed which is obviously hopeless for this application, I’ve tried fitting those inline flow control valves. But the pump is still trying to push max fluid through a now restricted line and the pump just screeches and sounds like it’s dead ending. Is it just a case that this setup simply isn going to be able to work on this machine or does anyone have any other ideas? cheers
  20. Happy with the performance of the Yanmar?
  21. On a slight side note- any one use an app for RAMS. Currently have to use a table on the compooter. But something that could easily be done on an app and pinged off to client would be easier- like the invoice apps etc...
  22. Hmm, I must admit if I had quoted several jobs for a customer and none had ever been accepted there would come a point when I’d say look I’ve quoted all your jobs- it seems that either A) you can’t afford me or B)have a preferred contractor and your just abusing my goodwill to provide free estimates. i couldn’t be arsed with it myself- plenty of work out there anyway if your good at what you do why waste time chasing time wasters!
  23. What a complete plonker- the bloke filming it more or less walked right under it- don’t reckon it’d take much more momentum for the kit to go on its side.
  24. Yeah- it’s a tricky dilemma I find- can’t stand working in heavy rain- particular if on groundwork’s based work. It trashes the site and is generally miserable- but sitting at home doesn’t pay the bills!
  25. Heavy rain yesterday, heavy today, and looking heavy on Thursday and Friday too- utterly demoralising really.
