  2. Beech cut a few years ago and forgotten about.Milled today .
  3. Once you start swearing, you’v lost the argument.
  4. I think eu46 is Uk 11. i think when most of us are finished with a pair of boots, the pair of boots are finished .
  5. Do you mean? if you can’t blow without....
  6. I hope JCB is not who I think it is!
  7. Sounds too cheap. Worth checking out though. might be genuine but need a lot of repairs?
  8. Strong southerly gusts (we usually get from south west) and very heavy showers. managed to fell large side leaning pine I had been putting off for ages. had winch line set up and strongest gusts came just as windguru.cz said they would.
  9. Ours was on an old Volvo . Worse again. Current owner “trailerised” it and pulls it behind large tractor.
  10. I think I remember being sent the info on that from Coillte at the time. looked like a good setup
  11. Watched that video. Takes me back. We ran an AT 650 from 98 to 03. felling the trees was the nicest part
  12. Nice! The little chipper doesn’t look too happy
  13. I had one of those trailers til some scumbag stole it. Used to toe with ball on blade of mini digger and use bucket or grab if fitted to tip. Never bothered with the hoist thingy. worked well on a few jobs. tyres aren’t too good. When you take a tight turn with a good load on, chances are tyre would pop off rim. Had to put tubes in to solve.
  14. Sorry for derail. Hi Connor. Do you have a farmi 260? ive never seen one working.
  15. Great tool. I tried an Italian Arvipo one. worked great until west of Ireland dampness took its toll
  16. There’s one on mascus this week. Fuelwood in Warwick I think
  17. Might be worth contacting the Coillte (Irish forestry board) training center in Mountrath, Ireland. some of their older instructors might know of contractors with discarded machines or there may be some of their fitters with knowledge Re part origins
  18. We have 572 for a few weeks and like it. 372 is a great saw but 572 feels like it has more torque.
  19. I’d say there are bound to be a few timbermasters parked up both UK and Ireland. might be worth placing want ad in Forest Machine Journal or some of the Facebook groups, and Arbtrader on here. small scale skyline work is rarely viable over here as rates and timber value are relatively low, and it’s very hard.work. Have to say have found A&B good to deal with. best of luck
