  1. Nice! Well done and good luck ? sorry about my ocd but winch lever looks a bit vulnerable.
  2. 6inch Timberwolf is just about strong enough for the stresses it’s designed for . (Not a put down, I own one) masking for trouble putting putting winch on.
  3. Ah but we would be just moving woodchip for farm animal bedding ?
  4. Yeah. I figured I wouldn’t need to alter solenoids etc just replace the 3 stage switch in the control box with a unit that can be radio controlled, if that makes sense. Thanks
  5. Hi Stephen There’s an electrical control box you can have either in cab or it can be mounted on the chipper.(chipper was factory built as crane fed with no stop bar, just big stop bottons either side). It’s when chipper is driven by other tractor that remote would be handy. Thanks
  6. Ouch! Thanks
  7. Thanks Eddie. I will try them.?
  8. Hi. we run a crane-fed Jensen pto chipper. Depending on site ,space, type of stuff to be chipped etc , we either run it on crane tractor (Valtra/botex) or on a second tractor. running on crane tractor is fine for nice long material but for small more fidgety stuff it’s easier to use second tractor and see the feed rollers as you feed with crane or mini digger. i am hoping to set up a remote control to reverse the feed rollers when I need to without getting out of crane tractor or having to have someone on the ground (which is not ideal from a safety point of view) Any of the systems I’ve found on-line e.g. winch remotes require you to hold button on for both forward and reverse . I need forward to ‘click’ on, and I need stop to hold stopped. It would be okay to have to hold button pressed for reverse. has anyone fitted simular system or can suggest something that might suit? Thanks
