  1. I googled that show, sounds awesome! 9 hours from here unfortunately
  2. I suppose if it was simple it would be overrun with Uk and paddies trying to escape the dampness. what are the winters like?
  3. Haven’t noticed builders yards as yet . road workers seem to work well into the evening. Is it a two hour lunch or a kind of split shift? weve started using battery saws at home and a battery pole saw , great up to 4inch or so then bring on the petrol power. Haven’t tried battery hedge trimmers, we avoid hedge trimming unless work is quite or for regular good customer, hard on arms on shoulders . Back pack battery would have to be easier. I’d say hedge trimming would be heavy on battery to keep blade momentum going so large capacity battery would be a must
  4. They had nice Pellenc battery trimmers btw
  5. The crew that were trimming the hedges all over the holiday park we’re in would just abandon their platform each evening. “ah sure the kids might enjoy playing on it!”
  6. Thanks. likes his pegs!
  7. Yes. Maybe an iveco
  8. Seen what? ?
  9. Am on holidays in Carnac Brittany. have only seen one chipper 6 days (I know, sad person). That was in a yard in Napoleon with landrover and a mewp (wife wouldn’t let me pull in) also saw o blue right hand drive crew cab transit in Auray. also a John Deere compact with loader on truck with tree logo between auray and Carnac. Just wondered if they were anyone on here.
  10. I think the rollers are on Teflon/nylon bushings. Not difficult to replace
  11. When they want a ballpark or ‘how much to cut a tree?’ Over the phone, they’ve usually had a load of quotes. I usually tell them straight away that I will not be the cheapest but will do the job properly and to beware of very low quotes with poor work/safety/iffy insurance cover etc. Seems to deter at least some of the time wasters.
  12. 60psi sounds about right, or as hard as recommended by tyre manufacturer
  13. That happened an Eastern European groundie in Ireland about ten years ago took one leg to the knee and flesh to the hip, also broke the other leg. amezing that the poor guy survived
  14. Thanks arbwork.? great information in there.
  15. So if I get this chipper modified to meet criteria/spec as per latest safety regs, work done by local light engineers, get mechanical engineer to certify, am I ok ?
  16. Thanks. A friend has a TP, will take a look
  17. I don’t have one Mick. An estate I do work for might be selling it soon, it’s been in a shed for a good few years. Thanks
  18. Bump
  19. Hi. Old scheilsing 500 late 90s but has no more than 200hours work done from new. what would it cost to make stop bar legal? Machine dosent have stress control, just variable speed on feed rollers. Thanks
  20. And there’s definitely no locking pin in place to lock up steering drawbar when not required. sorry. Had to ask?
  21. Does the steering drawbar work when other spools are off? ( lever in neutral) on my tractor I have to turn off crane to operate hydraulic top link
  22. Thanks mike. im not sure, it’s a friends machine. i sold it to him last year. i think bearing/sprag clutch has collapsed.
  23. No. Tracked Kubota 68hp
  24. Has anyone had to replace overrun clutch on a Jensen a328 chipper? is it a Jensen part or is it common to any Agri machines? (There is no part number to be seen) thanks.
  25. Probably Has alternator fitted. LEDs wouldn’t be a big drain though
