    Stihl 056 av

Anyone know if possible to get piston and cylinder for stihl 056av.? Thanks
  4. Thanks. Will try this. I have an ideal hook if I can find it
  5. Thanks. That’s pretty much what I had in mind and yes, pricey.! i Hodges something similar from aluminum and plywood and copious amounts of tech screws and cable ties. worked ok but used to bing up with sawdust in no time. Re bungee: have tried it but not comfortable with anything dangling from basket.
  6. When doing dismantles I normally have top handle and ground saw in basket. whichever saw left on basket floor gets buried in sawdust and can get in the way sometimes. is there any purpose built saw holder available or would anyone like to show one they’ve made up themselves? hope this makes sense. Thanks
  7. We used these. For driving or tracking over you’d need 9mm. 6mm not rigid enough and didn’t last that well. was going to go for 9mm but had a few nice jobs on so opted for the groundtrax ones. Having grip on both sides and slots to link them together makes a huge difference, otherwise they get moved around too easily.
  8. Would cost you around £3k plus vat to buy new. Not a bad investment. Pay for themselves in a few jobs
  9. 2.5 ton much more capable and stable. youll wonder how you ever managed without
  10. Very important to change timing belt on time. Friend of mine had one break ( same engine on a woodmizer) so much damage had to get complete new engine. also beware overheating. I had head gasket go in one once , skimmed too much off head and couldn’t time injectors after. always avoided lombardini after that
  11. Wondering if op found winch cable and where from? thanks
  12. Ashford Castle walled garden. hundreds of years old, built by the Guinness family
  13. Had broken at 5 feet and fallen down from a bank of laurel so no great view of it , mashed some nice Japanese maples on its way
  14. More storm damage clearance. Access too tight for trailer so 6 transit loads of chip and 13 loads of timber from one tree in formal garden. Local woodcarver working on beech stump. Talented guy!
  15. You’ll need a press I’m fairly sure. i always took out flywheel and brought into agri-eng workshop. my Tw dealer told me it’s not difficult to make greasable, said he’d done a few.
  16. Oliomac (might be spelt wrong) do a good 62cc that’s powerful and less money. very happy with ours
  17. I think that’s the same as what’s on the uniforest. It’s pre- crushed (or something like that ) so doesn’t kink or flatten easily
  18. Thanks. i hoped there might be one at the APF. there was a hydraulic one but the rep knew nothing about engine driven
  19. Will work but too much heat. have done this with a mini digger in the past , works great but oil boiling within 20 minutes
  20. Clearing storm damage at Ashford castle.. storm Ali did most tree damage in years around here
  21. Hi K.T.S. what model farmi? thanks
  22. Never heard it called that either, but it does make sense ?
  23. Seen one at the apf and liked build/layout. what engine does it have? wouldve bought the 175 model 3yrs ago but stuck with tw for the kubota engine.
  24. Menzi muck mewps . Crane with cutting head for those who like that sort of stuff. And nice hilux
