  1. OK, STOP SHOUTING,
  2. My flappy thing broke off on the TW so bodged this up, it's actually an improvement! Could be a keeper.
  3. You don't get rid of coypu, they always come back, you can only clear 'em out for a bit. A bit like mink, squirrels etc. they're now part of the native fauna. Just gotta get on with it. All the stuff about wiping them out is just tub thumping.
  4. Many a true word said in jest:001_smile:
  5. Course not! You quote what you think will get you the job at the best profit for you.
  6. Alder is a hardwood. Doesn't mean the wood is hard though.
  7. If he has a flue lining ie metal tubes running up the chimney from the burner to the exit then the smoke HAS to be coming back down yours from the top, has he altered the cap of the chimney at all?
  8. It's really just a device to get them in front of the client. Once there one can work the magic:001_smile: IME very few clients will show you the other quotes, they can be cagey and play you. I doubt it's a genuine guarantee.
  9. Yeah we have it every Sunday with taties and gravy:001_smile: (I am joking BTW) Wouldn't have thought there were any farms left.
  10. Go round and ask them to rod the chimney, it may be a partial blockage or a nest has been built during the summer.
  11. Business is business.
  12. 100 percent agree.
  13. No, had to trap a few when I was a water bailiff, never enjoyed that. As a young man I ferreted a lot so have a great deal of affection for all of the Weasel family.
  14. Like I said, love 'em, fabulous looking, brilliant predators, we tolerate other mustelids Stoats, martens, weasels, polecats, otters etc because they are "Native" Why not mink? They're here to stay anyway so get used to it. Considering they were brought here to live in a wire cage until someone stuck an electrode up their rear end to kill them then skin them I reckon their due a bit of respect.
  15. Personally I love them, great little survivors, bad news for the water vole but there you go. Used to come into contact with them in a previous life as a water. IMO a great addition to our fauna.
  16. ha ha, that gave me a larf.
  17. It ain't gonna happen.
  18. Get used to it, they're not coming back. The greys will not be removed, it would be impossible.
  19. Don't be fooled into thinking you need all that Shiny stuff to start with. Don't run before you can walk, IMHO you need to work for other people for a year minimum before you can even think about starting your own thing. Like I say just my opinion.
  20. Just think of it as investment in your future. Speculate to accumulate and all that.
  21. You are clearly very clever, that reminds me of The Hurricane which must be 50 grands worth of machine. Very well done!
  22. Ha ha, even worse if its your wife and her brother!
  23. Rough luck on the smash, thanks for the update, hope you make a full recovery.
