  11. Sounds like the oil hole in the bar is blocked so oil is not going on the bar and leaking on the floor.This may have caused the bar and chain to wear.
  12. How often does the user apply the chainbrake ? I've worked with newly qualified that apply brake far too often in my opinion !

  17. Exactly - The chain tie straps have been rubbing on the nose of the bar.

  19. Has the bar been assembled with the wrong nose sprocket ?
  20. Try the distance between 3 rivets i.e 1 cutter and 1 drive link. I suspect you have measured 2 cutters and 1 drivelink on a 3/8" chain.
  21. I went for a 30" HS 81R as it can be used left or right handed
  22. You are absolutely correct.
  23. If it says 25 on the cutter that will be 0.025" for the depth guage. A 3/8 pitch , 58 guage Dolmar chain should have 99 stamped on the drive link and is equivalent to Oregon 73LP.
