  1. Incorrect grade of oil or blocked breather ?
  2. Sometimes there's a filter inside the tank at the outlet. Low oil level would also give your symptoms
  3. You can think what you like but when all eyes were on summerset and glouster last year ...... elsewhere badger numbers seem to be going down.

    Staverton?!

There's one in Northhampton aswell .

    Staverton?!

    Staverton in South Devon ?
  6. There's no max speed given in my 113/116 manual. They're quite torqy low down so 12.5-13 k should be O.K
  7. Presumably that was at full throttle and would be only be about 1/3 of that at idle. My silage bales are wrapped with a diesel power pack , from a road gritter , bought off ebay.It has a tiny little engine that will work all day on a couple of gallons , producing more flow than the old ford 6600 we used to run it on.
  8. I use my P.F 12" stroke splitter on my JD6400 which is about 70 Litres/Minute. At 1200 rpm its not fast but acceptable, however not very economic(100 Hp) So if you aim for 40-50 litres at idle I'm guessing the 35xPTO speed will be about 270 rpm. It would be interesting to know what your actual flow is after 50 years of wear.

    Stihl fs 70

    Well,is it any good ?
  10. You want an Oregon 248RNBK095 but you may have to import it.
  11. Very compact and manouverable but its like climbing in and out of a tank. Merlo 26.6 or 32.6 will be nicer to drive than JCB 526 or Manitou 627 because of the hydrostatic transmission. http://www.gordonagri.co.uk/image/cache/data/soldgallery/merlo%2051%20reg-1000x1000-640x480.JPG
  12. 627 will probably be on 20" tyres, Mitas were £295 + Vat last May
  13. HS 86 R is single sided but the HS 81 R is double sided. Both are 38mm tooth spacing and 3100 strokes/minute.
  14. HS81R is ideal for farm hedges and can manage 2 years growth - any more and its saw time.
  15. No its a safety valve to stop your hose bursting.
  16. Now Yes. I was just explaining the purpose of the bit you took off:001_smile:
  17. O.K - Your pushing up a heap and the bucket edge hits something solid and digs in. The pressure in one of the tip/crowd ram hoses rises until the hose bursts. On this loader the rods would pushed into the rams causing the crossline relief valve to unseat diverting the displaced oil into the lift rams, tipping the bucket and lifting clear of the obstruction.
  18. I'm guessing the block you took off , to fit the splitter , was the cross line relief valve.
  19. I know that:001_smile: But I guess if the 5th from the left was you would have told me
