  1. its a pity they couldn't do something with conifer chip we would be rich i tell you rich
  2. when we done line boring with a hydraulic borer we made up a steel pipe in a loop and stuck it in a barrel of water it done well at cooling it down and it was simple and cheap
  3. have a look on ebay for a terex mbr 71 roller they have a neat little oil cooler for the aux hydraulics the fan might be a bit more difficult to get you would need a motor that would use the return flow from the valve block
  4. stefan take it to somebody who knows what they are doing if you are struggling to find somebody take it to loudon at burnside garden machinery in kilsyth

  6. some of these axles have a one shot nut that gets staked in place when its torqued up if you replace the cables get the stainless ones they are only a couple of quid extra
  7. sounds like a dodgy plug they are pretty cheap i think you can get them from flow tech i think if you google hirschman plug you should get them from somewhere
  8. your solenoid sounds like its bolloxed swap the two round about and try that failing that a loose or corroded connection inside the plug I've seen in the past a corroded solenoid shank gripping the spool inside and stopping a valve working
  9. on the top of the solenoid the wee red light does that go out when it plays up

  13. go to your local quarry and ask for some old conveyor belt its the best of stuff
  14. have you done a bypass test on the cylinder before you condemn the orbital valve if you take off one end of the hoses on the cylinder in a mid position and turn the steering check how much oil flow is coming out the port on the cylinder it will work better if the wheels are in a rut
  15. is it tight both ways when the engines turned off try swapping the pipes round about on the ram to see if it transfers the problem there should be a couple of cross over valves in the circuit as well I've seen these fail before with georotor systems
  16. that engine has to be warm there is no way that the old 2 stroke detroits would start as quick as that ive seen air start detroits with a transmission and 3 hydraulic pumps on them and they never ever start as quick as that ipu do a unit that looks like it could serve as a stress controller for a chipper
  17. we ran our 365 on a 15" bar and 8 pin sprocket easy peasy as the sprocket sits on the outside of the clutch for a quick change

I've got this one just now its sold to a bloke in ireland and my new humber destroyer is on order due to appear on the 10th oct it seems to be up here nobody bothers you go to the slipway chuck your boat in the water hey presto of you go one thing i would definatley recommend is a gps chart plotter depth gauge I've been in places that there a lot of sub surface rocks up the west coast that now i would be without one
  20. if you want an oil pump we have a second hand one going spare from one of ours
  21. is the breather on the tank ok has it got plenty of fuel in it without sounding cheeky
  22. if you find a new one tell me as i was looking for one for long enough and couldn't find one that was 3 years ago so i would think you would have even less of a chance now we had to go for a 560 in the end
