  1. If I haven't charged camera in along time it resets date to a default one, so could be gen, not saying it is. Also says cash on collection and doesn't ask for money first, seems ok to me.
  2. Mans best friend, they got that right. Glad you can remember the good times, the pain will fade over time, but will never go away, but the good times will always be there, and a part of all our friends who have past are always with us.
  3. I know how hard it must be for you, we had to make that decision that only a best friend could make in Jan after our rescue Lab collapsed with no warning, vet said he might be able to extend Toddys life by up to 6 months, but a lot of surgery, he wouldn't be able to get excited, be off the lead at the park or woods, in other words not be who he was, my wife couldn't make the decision, but we both knew it was the right thing to do. He was a mirror of me, i know i would of wanted him to do the same for me if he could. A month and a half later we added a new member to our family, Swagger, a Rottie who was left in the snow last year, Like you we wanted a dog that wasn't perfect, and maybe would find getting a home a challange. Within no time the house was a home again, and as i type hes cuddled up with me on the sofa. Sorry for long post, but although it may not seem like it, time heals, it does get better Untill Rainbow Bridge comes our best friends are with us in our hearts. Hope that helps.
  4. After putting all that money into it you won't get back anything like that amount, if it were me I'd gamble and get it sorted, but i like the big older saws anyway. Not much help but hope you get it sorted
  5. I had the same kind of thing with my Entec, turned out to be the saftey bar wiring had a bad join, rewired it and all good again, hope this helps
  6. Every day we all make choices that if wrong are life ending, and yet we don't forget about the others we work with, theres a huge difference between a mistake and not being right for the type of work you're involved in, this guy who was at the police training center is IMO in def in the wrong job. I feel bad if Swaggers left in the van while I go into the shops for 2 mins and some people look at you like you're a monster as he paws the window. BUT why did no one else there spot it as well? Seems odd.
  7. Heart goes out to you and all those involved.
  8. Looked like a fun day had by all, love the pics
  9. it would be breaking ever law in the book, plus rude not to. Looks stunning
  10. Got my 084 end of last year thinking I'd only use it 3-4 times a year, so far its been on most jobs, loads of torgue, reliable if looked after and cool as hell, but very heavy after a while. Go for it
  11. Feel for you mate, had the same thing with my lab at start of the year, heart goes out to you and all involved
  12. Tea all over laptop and very used pants now!!!!
  13. Good lad, little s#/t deserves all he got and more, not sure i'd have been able to hold back once I'd snapped like that, so well done on him.
  14. Thats what else I thought was a bit funny, chippers hitched to a car, not the truck, again could be wrong and sorry to anyone if I am.
  15. Hi guys, Sorry in advance if its gen but just on fleabay and came across an Entec surrounded by shipping containers, just alerted me as being a bit funny, could be wrong but if you've had a chipper go walkies have a look,
  16. I know mine is nothing fantastic but its a 1997, paid £1300 for it, has never let me down either, earnt its money back within months so saving for a newier one as well, but I guess its all down to what you want it for as well as how much you have to spend.
  17. Just a quick update, took the engine panels off and looked like someone had done a DIY job with every wire in there so dropped it into dealers, waiting to hear the news, but winching in pain at the thought, could see the pound signs in their eyes as soon as i pulled in. Again thanks guys for all you advice will keep you posted on any news.
  18. Go to agree with Swinny, tipper all the way. The guy I started with had a Trasnit panel van and small chipper, had to chip it all, bag it up, load the van at the end of the day, drive back to he's and unload, really took it toll after a hard, wet, cold day. When i went on my own knew it had to be a crew cab tipper, best of both worlds. Hope this helps
  19. Hi, Just starting up for myself so brought as much as I could for as little as I could but tried to keep to the good stuff, ie Stihl and Entec/Timberwolf. 3 months ago brought the 6" Entec chipper off Fleabay, worked great but last few days after about 30 mins the infeed rollers stop working, it will kick it out, but won't roll in, if left for a few hours its fine again for 30mins or so, or you have to reverse the rollers and then they sometimes don't roll back in, bit puzzled, just wondered if anyone else has had this and could offer any light on it, or a trip to Lister Wilder might be in order, Thanks Jon
  20. Wow thanks guys for all your replies, a few things to check tomorrow than. If its left for a few hours its fine for about 30 mins or untill I need to reverse the rollers, then it stops again. When i got it I was told it had just been serviced, wasn't sure till i saw that the oil filter was new, but I might get it serviced again. I couldn't afford the fancy no stress device lol. Again guys thank you so much
