  1. Hi all, taking down some sycamore trees in Luton this week that needs a home. PM me if interested Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Front page news says autumn is coming, could do with updating! And contact details need to be on front page imo Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Had a customer last year who we reduced 2 sycamores for, about 6 months later phones up complaining that it has grown it's leaves back, wanting me to do them again for free! Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. The auto update is part of the Google store. I've just updated the arbtalk app as it's available now. Looks a bit different, will take some getting used to! Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. If you've given 30 days then it's overdue and needs pursuing, especially if they're not answering your calls. I try to make sure I'm talking to the bill payer when the invoice is due to establish where the money is
  6. Got cracked in the eye by bit of wood going through the chipper, plus rain. Not a good day
  7. I saw the union Jack one on Twitter earlier. It looks good
  8. Very nice looking site, but your phone number is tiny and in the footer on the arb site? I think it's always best to make it as easy as possible for people to contact you. Not everyone will click to the contact page
  9. If you're having problems I feel bad for you son, I've got 99 problems but arbtalk ain't one
  10. My protector pros are coming up 2 years and doing fine. The sides started to come away a couple of months back so glued it with 'stormsure' glue, about £3 from eBay, been fine since (bit messy but put loads on to be safe!)
  11. Is that with employers liability too?
  12. It reads to me like stihl will be overseeing any online sales as dealers will be plugged into their network (shop in shop) and presumably pricing will be the same across the board? I think that was the reason for the online sales ban in the first place, preventing some dealers selling in bulk and cheaper, driving down prices
  13. I doubt it will last long regardless, that's the saw from China that's rebadged as fake stihl/husky. I'd just use proper 50:1 oil
  14. Just put one on there to see if it works as the more ways people can find you the better I think. Not overly hopeful but can't hurt! If get anything from it I'll stump up for premium
  15. Do you pay to go on the first page or just the free ad?

  17. Just saw this and set it to record. His historical stuff is always interesting
  18. Its just that this same thread has been done soooo many times now. I'm sure both husky and stihl stuff break and seems to mainly end in stihl bashing? None of my saws have needed anything but general maintenance. Perhaps they won't last 15 years like ones made in the 90's but they are lighter and cut faster and if using professionally what they cost to buy is recouped very quickly
  19. Same here. Has this thread bashing the ms261/anything stihl not been done 100 times by now? They're just saws! They cut wood, you get paid and go home! Mine and others work perfectly.
  20. I've got visions of the trunk bouncing back upright wile e coyote style!
  21. Might be able to get rid of some chip for you, I've got a friend who has horses and takes some whipsnade way
  22. Yup, brash everywhere as job not finished so could be there but the other saws all accounted for, looked all over when discovered it was missing but nowhere to be seen
  23. Think we lost a ms200t from a site in Hemel today, finished in the dark so outside chance it's just misplaced but doubt it
