  1. Don't rush unless you've got the work lined up to make use of it?
  2. I can't see why anyone would bother, it's not like PayPal or eBay where you Could scam or steal money
  3. Had some guys pull into our yard a couple of weeks ago in a Prius, turned around and drove away before got the plates. Sneaky bloody car as rolls in silently on the electric engine
  4. Can't really blame people, I think it will take a high profile death to slow the recent spate of thefts
  5. Yale hsa6200, it's a battery powered wireless house alarm, you can add door sensors, pir sensors etc as required

    which saw??

What is the 365 like on the 24 inch bar? I'd like a 70cc saw but wouldn't get used often enough to pay out for a ms441/461

    Stihl km94r

Well I went and got one on Monday despite the lack of reviews, dealer has only had them in for two weeks which explains that. All the power adjuster thingy does is prevent you pulling the trigger as far. Bit of a gimmick really and won't be used. As for the engine its smooth starts really easily, and powers the hedge cutter attachment perfectly, still on its first tank so can't comment on it long term obviously or other attachments but pleased so far. Only thing I thought was a bit strange is that the carb can't be adjusted, say factory preset for most conditions on the manual, all you can change is the idle
  8. Agreed, mines locked on, chained and if working out of sight for extended periods or in a dodgy area wheel clamp as well

    Stihl km94r

Has anyone had any experience of the km94r combi engine? Looking to buy a new engine in the next week or so and just spotted this model on a few websites. Looks good in that it's not a 4 mix which some people have issues with, not sure about the engine speed adjuster, can't see why you'd want to lower the power
  10. I assume they fixed the newer ones but we've got one about ten years old and the chain break plastic melted from the exhaust heat
  11. Don't think you'll sell any at that price! That's three times as much as the cs100, if I was in the market for something like this I'd get the green mech and use the spare 7 grand to fund tip runs for the non chipable stuff!
  12. How old is your one? I'm on my second after the first got stolen and the newer one seems a lot easier on starting, less choke when warm or cold and nearly always a short pull gets it going when up the tree
  13. Would modern saws not offer better protection anyway now? Given the new breed of strato engines and emission regulations fumes are surely way lower than a few decades ago? Would be interesting to see some up to date data
  14. No it wouldn't cost as much as that a day. I just can't see much benefit when using saws as I doubt it makes much difference to the life of a saw and if it did it wouldn't overcome the extra cost as well as the hassle of going to a dealer to buy some when any petrol station would do. I understand the emission side of it but think with a saw its far enough away from you that you're not breathing in any more exhaust fumes than you do walking down the street. It makes sense to use it on hedges perhaps where the fumes can reflect back at you
  15. Aspen doesn't make sense to me due to the cost, if using saws daily and at an extra £10+ per five litres it quickly adds up to enough to just buy a new saw with the money you save with normal fuel
  16. You've got a point Andy, but just to point out the Amazon screenshot is from a different company?

    Transit Thefts

I have no problem with these people being shot or whatever but I think the consequences of their actions being life lasting and effecting every interaction they had from then on by people knowing what they did would deter the majority of criminal activities

    Transit Thefts

I think the best punishment is to start branding criminals on their forehead what they did. If you knew you'd have thief or rapist or whatever for the world to see for the rest of your days you wouldn't break any laws then

    Transit Thefts

Yup you can buy them online for £20, ridiculously easy, all you can do is make sure nothing is left in your van
  20. So they say, but I've managed to get new websites on page one within a couple of weeks without that much effort
  21. Fair play if you're getting the work in but you are fourth when you search tree surgery Horsham which is poor if you're paying to get top

    Twitter

Found and followed, I don't use it that much but keeps you in touch with local people, you can link to Facebook so if you post on one it copies across. I'm not sure the once a year must use Twitter more posts you've got will hit the target market though! 😉
  23. If it's as thin as you say could you fell it by back cutting it but without the gob so it folds over nice and slowly?
  24. Haha I'm gonna have to use that one
