  1. Does anyone know places that take chipp in Newton abbot?
  2. I think that's the main reason the tree is staying,
  3. The tomograph report explains there is a large central cavity indicated in blue, surrounded by advanced decay coloured in pink and green. The yellow lines on the tomograph indicate there may be cracks. And the tree is to be tested again in 12 months.
  4. Tricky little reduction as it was an old pollard.
  5. We did have concern about this work shortening the life off the tree which we were not happy to do,we brought this up with our tree manager but the main reason for the works on this tree was health and safety. We have been doing work on this tree over the last 4 years the plan was to reduce 2 meters of every couple off years to get it down to 35 feet, but for some reason this year the tree manager in charge off this tree asked us to reduce down to 35 feet in one go.
  6. I was the climber on the job the tree manager that gave us the job had no concern about growth points in the spec the job was take down to 35 feet.we tried our best to leave as much growth as possible and do the job to spec.
  7. Yeah it's a shame really just one off those jobs we need it gone asap if anyone wants it it's there till Monday.
