    Yup I ordered a stein helmet for £67 and a new silky. Very good prices on saws as well

    I got a now tv box from tesco with 4 months sky movies with it for £19 which thought was a bargain, especially as used club card points so didn't pay a penny out of pocket! Thinking of getting the 25 litre chain oil from northern arb for £42 delivered as well

    I assume leglock refers to wheel clamp or whatever is appropriate to the machine. I make sure more than one of the stipulations is in place wherever possible

    I use the Almax one for my chipper, when out and about but would be nervous leaving it outside overnight though. To insure it wouldn't it have to be in a building of some description?

    There was a thread a while back where the chap had problems with his timberwolf 230 and they were on it and he had a replacement tracked one while they worked on it within the day!

    I'm surprised they don't have a presence on here, the other manufacturers seem to? Either way it seems bad they've not taken care of you as I've only seen positive reviews of their customer service

    I'm taking down a smallish but mainly wood rather than branches eucalyptus in Luton this Friday if you want to come get the wood from it

    It does indeed! Most people when they ask for wood aren't interested unless it's ash or beech which is why I ask, but as soon as I get a decent amount of wood come up in the area I'll let you know

    Only dealer I know is George Browns in Leighton buzzard, no idea how helpful they are regards shipping though

    That's my area so may find you something but are you fussy what wood it is? If you want decent seasoned split stuff let me know, I don't do logs but know a local company that does

    Another thing to bear in mind is that customers can smell desperation, you need to go in confident. Even if you have no work on you want to portray the image that you're not scratching around and desperate for this one job or they'll wonder why

    I was quoted 4K + vat a couple of years back when I considered one. Think the trailer rocks in at around 1k as well

    So this company would rather hire a chipper off of you than either paying a few hundred for a trailer test or selling the machine they have and getting one more suitable? Can't see the business logic myself!
