  1. Well that can go at least 50cm according to this video!
  2. My cousin had the 150 and said the same thing about having to shovel chip forwards in comparison to his timberwolf 150. I've got a Jensen and even with a chip box I'm finding chip 5 metres down the road!
  3. Great, glad you found what you're looking for. No idea about the hp, never used one but seen them in the dealers near me and look well built
  4. There was a guy selling one with a trailer (not the official one) for 3k on Facebook recently but that's down in Cornwall, if you use Facebook at all there's a few selling groups if you ask what you're after you'll get responses as I saw two people last night alone with cs100s for sale mention it in a thread
  5. That sounds like the brand new price to me!
  6. If you've already got a trailer on not fussed about having the official one then thats about 1000 saved, looking on arblease the cs100 is 400 deposit and then 75 a month +vat which isn't too bad.
  7. If you're set on buying new then the Greenmech is probably the way to go (although seen a few up for sale on Facebook groups recently) or for the same money you could get a used roller fed machine, but then that's got the risks involved in used stuff (personally that's what I've done and have spent a little on my chipper but works great)
  8. Are the bolt/nut and threads clean as well?
  9. I've got a 530 and find it really easy, once the nut has pinched up then the side with the Allen key holds firm on its own without the key whilst I torque the other side. Can get both blades off and on in 20 mins
  10. My dad has a Vermeer back in the 90's, similar looking but don't know which model it was, you had to double up on the springs to get them to pull in properly or wasn't enough pressure being single rollers
  11. It was mentioned on here last year, any ideas when it's out? I fancy a new ground saw
  12. I've bought some shelving on there to pick up, messaged the guy to see when they're about and he wants PayPal before I turn up. You'd think cash is king to save paying the fees
  13. Had same thing with a mobile once, the guy picked it up inspected it and all was fine and 2 minutes later phoned me wanting a partial refund (paid via PayPal before turning up) told him to bring it back and I'd give him a full refund. Then tried getting money back via eBay! They ruled in my favour that time
  14. Teeth are a bit pricey but I make sure I charge a minimum £120 on any stump grinding job I do so figure one job and that's the teeth paid for, keep them touched up with an angle grinder and diamond disc and you'll get a few months no problem depending on how much work you're doing
  15. right as a precaution I've decided to double the thickness of the oil tank on my 550, have raided the kitchen drawers and reckon this should do it
  16. Sounds good, at least it wasn't as serious as first sounded!
  17. No wonder Husqvarna's are so light these days!!
  18. I reckon so. Heard a rumour, don't know how true it is that a lot of these thefts are organised and are straight onto a container in Dover. There was a tractor stolen from a college last year found down there a few days after going missing
  19. Wow! Bet that went with a bang!? Hope they give you a brand new machine and don't try to fob you off with a repair given the amount of damage that must have done
  20. Can you get any pictures onto the front page to break up the text? I think they help speak to the customer more if they can see the kind of thing you can do
  21. Speak to arbrep they can email you the right one if you give them the serial number
  22. Aren't they about 4K + vat? I'd get the rock machinery one for 1500 including vat and do without the turntable myself for the price difference If paying north of 4K I'd defo spend the extra and get the bigger engine of the models listed above
  23. If you don't have it I'd be interested in it as a project
  24. Id have it at that price and quite happily throw the same again at it to have a reasonable machine
  25. All fixed, for future searches if anyone gets the problem it turned out to just be the screw and washer holding the gear to the pump had worked its way loose and the key that holds it onto the shaft was missing. Thanks for Charles from arbrep for being helpful over the phone with advice
