  1. It's gonna be going on a 550xp, haven't got much cutting to do this week as on a fencing job but there's a few bits I can do a test cut on tomorrow. If goes all right and lasts more than a few sharpens I'll be trying them on my 365 as well
  2. Quick comparison pic here, the top one is the piranha chain, next is the Oregon 91 and bottom is the stihl picco super. The piranha is a wider gauge chain as the other two are for the 540. Seems a decent enough chain, hopefully it cuts well for just £6!
  3. Until you get hit for 10% by eBay and another 3.4% if PayPal are involved!
  4. I just find the nearest brick wall/washing line pole/ tree stump to brace against!
  5. Damn I was gonna get the new version of the 362, now there's a new 261 as well I'll have to flip a coin!
  6. True but there's complaints about every saw available if you look for them! Most threads about saws on here people go on about how great the 560xp is but equally there's a bunch of comments about unreliability. There's lots of slating about the stihl 261 but I loved the one I had til it got stolen, but got a 550xp to replace it on the basis of reviews and not that keen on it as doesn't start when it's hot outside! That's why thinking going back to stihl with a 362 as an all rounder saw
  7. I'll take some photos on the piranha and Oregon chains together when it arrives
  8. Thanks, I find that with the Oregon ones as well so probably very similar
  9. At £6 a chain I think they're worth trying, and they're cheap enough to become throwaway items when they blunt. If it cuts alright I'll try one on a bigger saw
  10. Just about to order some for my 550xp. 2 chains on their website is £23.34 + vat or only £12.79 delivered from eBay. Doesn't make sense to me as costs over double! You'd think they'd charge the same or less on the website to drive traffic there and possibly get additional sales and wouldn't have eBay fees 🤔
  11. I think you only hear when people have a problem with a product, there's thousands out there that work fine. Thinking of buying one when the newer lighter version hits shelves
  12. It's strange the price difference between the website and eBay, I was originally put off by the website price so dismissed them until saw the eBay price when went to order some chains and they showed on a search
  13. Gonna do just that unless hear any bad reports, don't want to fall for buy cheap buy twice!
  14. Bet that's not far off of having paid for the machine!
  15. Don't bother with them, the last ones I got from there had holes in on the first day they were that thin and the print quality is really poor. I used hivis.net as they don't charge the £30 setup fee most places charge and they've lasted ages (uneek premium t-shirts on the label)
  16. Fair enough if you can manage it but found the exact opposite, my current bar has been on there since May
  17. The only way you'll get 8 months from the techlite is if you buy yourself a 201 and leave the husky in the lockup!
  18. Anywhere but vistaprint, once you see proper printing you'll never go back!
  19. That bar! Mark I bought this saw from you guys and the rear Spring has started to go so will be ordering one from you, are they upgraded yet? Also need a chain catcher, can't see that option on your website? Is it best to call? Also the chain on there atm is the Oregon one, cuts fine but does snatch a lot especially when new, the stihl chain is defo the best
  20. Anyone tried these on bigger saws yet? Need some chains for my husky 365 and 550xp and they are £14.19 for two delivered on ebay
  21. You can get them online for £10 each delivered if you shop around, just have to send a pic of your driving licence and log book to comply with the regs
  22. You'd think so but I once put oil in the petrol tank on an echo top handle as its where the oil is on a 200t. It ran like that for oo 2-3 seconds before it got the hump and died, but flushed it through and was as good as gold!
  23. Had the exact same thing on that type of engine on a timberwolf with the same solution so well worth checking as its a £1 fix!
  24. Probably why they stopped selling it! I didnt like the look of it when got mine as though the folding handle looked like it wouldn't hold up to the work for long
