Winds me up that bbc keep doing this show of getting these people in and hand over £2k of our licence fee money to them

    Watchdog

Don't think much of the expert either £500 far too much as well, would never get the job if priced like that
  3. Yup, got one, good for the price, do a search there's a few threads about them on here 😉
  4. They look a bit sexy in black like that!
  5. Putting it on eBay and buying a new one tends to work 😉
  6. To be fair to the op he's only asking if others have had similar issues and it's not like he's making it up as there are pics to back it up. Most threads on this site are slating one chainsaw or another! In regards to timberwolf they do have a good presence on this site as I've made posts about one of their machines i owned and they've got my phone number from my sig and phoned to see if they can help so for that I think they are a very decent company who I personally would be happy to deal with. I'm sure they'll respond to this thread either by tracking down the op or on here in due course
  7. My cousin bought one, loves it, got rid of a greenmech 150 to have one instead. Haven't had a chance to use it myself though. Timberwolf are weird as there's a bunch of models I've seen about or on eBay that aren't on their website, never understood that
  8. I'd be the same, wouldn't be at all happy to see a machine doing that, spending that kind of money id want the machine to last ten years minimum! I did see a similar pic of a crack on the flywheel casing on a Facebook page a while ago so could be a weakness there or possibly just a bad batch.
  9. That's a lot of cracks, do they/it vibrate excessively?

    Alarm system

In case anyone is interested screw fix have 25% off the Yale wireless alarm today http://m.screwfix.com/p/yale-hsa6200-wireless-alarm-kit/97114?filtered=true Good system for places without power as all runs on batteries, and as we know it's that time of year...
  11. Surely no one actually uses cheap oil in professional saws!? Red stihl oil is only a tenner or so a litre
  12. Auto tune one or the older 'proper' carb model?
  13. Right by me, hope they don't come sniffing around here again😡 no tools to steal at home anymore but hate the idea of them looking around
  14. Oh didn't realise they did anything but timberwolf, switched to a Jensen so was gonna try Saturn knives but always used spectrum in the past and had good service. Will get onto them unless anywhere comes in at a better price than £15 a blade?
  15. My cousin had one, I only used it for a day and liked it as was pulling in brambles and hawthorn no problem. He changed it for a tw240 after about 18 months as wanted turntable and found the timberwolf machines better overall. Personal preference I guess
  16. You're not wrong. Lad who works for me last week looked at the chipper all confused as to why the rollers weren't turning, he hadn't turned the throttle up #facepalm
  17. Sounds a bit on the pricey side when you could get a km94 engine and hedgecutting attachment for around £500 including the vat. I think the price will have to drop a bit before I'd consider switching
  18. Looks interesting, will be good to see how it holds up after a few months work in regards to battery life
  19. Don't know anywhere online i just phone redwood and bits are there next day
  20. Nights drawing in, would imagine overnight raids going up soon 😡
  21. You'd think petrol had acid in it the way some people seem to think these days! A fuel can a few months old couldn't have degraded due to a petrol surely! I've got cans years old that don't have a problem, this is just a design/ build quality issue
  22. Oh yeah you can get stupid money, thought about getting a used 181 as a chipper saw but they go for a tenner less than brand new!
  23. That's nothing! Bargain of the century right here Stihl BG86 Leaf Blower (Petrol Driven) [ame]https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DSQUL3O/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_B4adwb3Y6KBNG[/ame]
