  1. How old is the machine? Is it an open gear model? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. They've got the result. The other one has conceded according to sky news Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Echo and shindaiwa are the same company Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. If you use a decent blower you'll want to chuck it in the bin afterwards. I struggled on with one for a while before getting a stihl backpack. Saves so much time getting something decent. Tried the 86 as well and that's also much better than the 55 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Depends how it's wired. I've just installed a towbar on our car and used a dedicated wiring loom that plugs into the rear lights and draws it's own power source from behind a cigarette lighter in the boot. It's earthed separately and has it's own relay and fuse Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Dodgy earth somewhere Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Petrol auger

Yeah but the time saved not having to cut a few roots you more than make up with buzzing the stumps out in a couple of minutes each. Conifer doesn't go too deep anyway and we're using 9ft posts so the disturbed ground won't matter too much when comes to set them Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

What sort of money are those and who sells them? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Petrol auger

What are these like with roots? On a job at the mo we've taken out a manky conifer hedge stumps out and 8 panels going in. Did 2 holes before leaving today 6 to go tomorrow. Bound to hit a few missed roots though. Will these machines just jam on the roots/stones and hurt your wrist or power through? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Petrol auger

Yeah we just use a draper one I got from Amazon for £25 and a regular digger from wickes. Both about 2 years old no issues so been a little reluctant to spend out on yet more machinery(!) Just looked on eBay and there's some around the £150 mark with 52cc engines. Sound like yours? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

Do you find them much quicker than a manual auger and post hole digger? We don't do that many fences so never tried one but got 4 fences booked in and another 2 to price so been thinking of getting one Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. That mog must be on its third owner in a year? Nice looking motor Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. I heard about this recall over a year ago in America. Wonder why it's taken so long for the UK to get the recall if affects our saws too Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. I try to use the bulldog stuff where I can. All nice thick metal. Got this lock on our caravan, should work when attached but wouldn't want to drive with it on Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Why? It's the same price and the stihl ones designed to work with the engine and seem to last a good while Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Hmm . Hope mine lasts. Lost a tooth and the shafts vibrating a bit Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. My cousin demo' d one last year but felt it was no better than his 230 so didn't bother Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. I got 99 problems but a radiator ain't one Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Will look into that. Got a wickes one last week 10% discount. You only need a website and a Facebook page! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. I've got the 28 piece set for the van, showing at £25 think I paid 35. Highly recommend it. Done everything including a engine swap on the grinder with it. Recently bought a ratchet spanner set as well. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Dolmar

Ditto. Perhaps husqvarna are doing the development, wasn't the 540 a couple of years after it was supposed to come out? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Have you reset the carb to factory setting? Usually printed next to the holes on stihls Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Never used a forst but everything i've seen of them looks identical to my chipper under the bonnet. The only thing that looks different is the roller setup, and apparently that's flawed so it gets full of crap and needs a bar that comes with the machine to open it up and clean it out? I watched a promo vid for saturn knives earlier and they demonstrate how they sharpen blades. I thought it was jensen blades until spotted the forst logo?? I'd bet they are interchangable
  24. There's also a link to an American tree companies site? Guess you had someone build your site for you and they sneaked a link in to boost the other websites ranking. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. I believe the crafters have engine problems. My mechanic has replaced several engines in those at pretty low mileage Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
