  1. Unless you've seen this it's hard to believe a pill can do so much damage but believe me these pills can be very dangerous. They effect everyone differently and no gp is trained to a high level. They will give anyone who asks these pills and the damage can be catastrophic. They hand out sertraline or similar which alters the serotonin in the brain. Sometimes this works, in others it makes things worse. If you come off of it without a long weaning period you get brain zaps which can be incapacitating. It took a year from starting on a low dose antidepressant which caused severe depression and sleep problems, switched those pills to another which bought on 'brain zaps' a more depressed state due to the side effects leading to a suicide attempt. A good 6 months of cbt and therapy and adjusting doses to get the person back to how they were before taking the pills but now the prospect of taking them for life in fear of a depressive cycle. I'm writing this to hope to save someone else going through all of this. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. I would strongly advise against that. Not to be specific on an open forum someone I know went on pills for depression. They caused night terrors a deepening depression (which they all do for the first 2 weeks) and suicidal thoughts which ultimately led to a suicide attempt. A gp will not be trained properly and will give them out like candy but without realising the full effects. Even coming off them causes problems (research it along with brain zaps) Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Thanks. I've got a 6 inch jensen 530 but these being 7 inch machines and solidly built seem worth a look as keep seeing them under 7k Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. What's the 190 like to live with? Are they a bit heavy for a transit setup? Seen some good prices on them recently since the 280 came out Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

  13. So you're not qualified and don't work in tree surgery? Would you instruct someone asking for advice on becoming an electrician to just have a go with a fuse box because you've wired a few plugs in your shed? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. This. You can't give a guy a harness a rope some prusik loops and send him on his way to experiment on his tod! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. So sending him off to a park to climb trees with equipment he's not familiar with on his own to see if he freezes when the wind gets up is a good idea? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. True. No ones putting you up a tree with zero job experience regardless of tickets. You need to learn how the job runs Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. I'd suggest start slower get your basic chainsaw tickets and work on the ground for a bit to see if you actually like the job before spending all that money on climbing tickets Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. I had a timberwolf 18/100 gravity fed machine that was supposed to be hollow ground and a local sharpening place did them flat, didn't notice a difference Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

  21. It's a kohler 742. Think it's quite a recent version as the air filter has changed from ones I've seen before, need to change the throttle and choke cables as not quite long enough but will use the controls on the engine for now. Was a very good price of £1070+ vat from multiplant. Good place to deal with if after an engine Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. The engine on my rayco rg20 started playing up so opted to replace it with a shiny new 25hp one so it's now a fully fledged rg25 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
