  1. That's exactly how they tried robbing me. Luckily I had enough alarms and locks inside the garage that they got nothing Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Get an electric beard trimmer then. That's all I use. Can set it to a length if want to keep a beard or it'll cut down to very short stubble. I wet shave every few months if there's an event happening Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. I don't think you do. The anvil is a fixed size as are the blades. Think you can get shims for the blades if the gaps too big Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. I've found paying for ads on facebook a massive waste of time and money. I've had a few jobs come in from sharing out page to local selling groups though and that's free Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Super easy. Take the cover off that's over the spring for the rollers. There's a plate there about 3inches square with a bolt holding it in place. Undo it and the anvil is there. It should slide out fairly easy but it's got a thread in it so you can put a bolt in it to help pull it out Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Out of curiosity does anyone have trouble with the auto tune part of the saw anymore? Early 550s didn't like starting when it was sunny out but that's been sorted. Only carb I'd say was crap was on the 200t which failed every 6 months. 201 carbs seem much more reliable? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Buy the same chipper on wheel from the same seller and a tracked barrow and make your own for 3k instead of 5! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Tiny echo!

No what's more annoying is a pole hedge cutter that stalls when you blip the throttle after climbing a ladder to side up a hedge so you're faced with trying to start it again while hanging onto the ladder or going back down Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. I think the retailer can have 3 attempts to fix a problem and then you can reject the goods and get a refund regardless of their terms and conditions Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. We once turned a row of yew trees into a hedge by cutting them down to 4 foot stumps. Came back fine Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Recently tried quickbook the self employed version after my accountant became very unreliable. Seems really good. Did my 15-16 self assement with it by uploading by bank details and clicking business or personal for all the transactions within 2 hours. Gets quicker after a few as you can create rules for example money going out to esso is a vehicle expense so they all get labelled Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

  13. I've got a rayco rg20 that's got 12 on it. Haven't had it long enough to change them yet seeing as how you can turn them but can get a full set for £60 so won't bother sharpening them Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Are they worth doing? Can get them new under a fiver each from qrms Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Too much bending on a 13 when snedding. Got a 15 on my 550 but prefer 16 ideally Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. You can get a pack of assorted circlips from halfords for a few pounds Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Buy the domain from whoever. Only about £7 a year. Then build or have a site built and have it hosted for around £5 a month. Practically free if you do it right Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

My 2511 threw the chain this week but to be fair I was using it to take out a dead conifer hedge (whilst levitating obviously) Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

I'm using a stihl file, not sure if oregon etc make them that small? Seems to do the job ok Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

Great cut on it. I've got a 200t (although underpowered and needs attention) a husky 540 and a echo 280t as well as the 2511. Only use the husky occasionally on dismantles the 2511 gets more use than the rest by far! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

Think that's the bar I've got on my 2511, but got the saw and chain together from skyland and didn't bother with the stock one. You should have given them a call, very helpful guys to talk to Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Good call Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. I'd have said the exact opposite about it! But you're right everyone's different, would be boring if everyone liked the same stuff Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. No! Avoid! If you want a genuinely funny tv show it has to be father ted Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
