  1. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No its some out of focus blue paint in the distance! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Genuine seller. Was tempted to buy this a while back when was talking with him but bit too far away for me Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Proper rough most of them if memory recalls! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Charged £160 for a 20 minute grind last week. Still prefer spending £18 on a board that does the exact same job than £136 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Just saw two blokes dressed up as batman holding up signs trying to flog pizzas in the absolute p*ssing rain. Rates highly on the 'should have tried harder in school' scale of jobs! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. This is my setup Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Same as mine except I drill a couple of holes in them and tie together with some blue 3 strand rope as think hinges will twist and work loose and doesn't need any strengthening. Can take a pic if you want Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Got some quotes to type up but you're right, too wet out so I'll leave it Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Do they need one? My chipper is the same setup and the greenmech chippers were/are built with a control bar no bottom stop bar. Think it's down to the length of the hopper? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. It's not even just minorities that suffer in these countries, heard on the radio yesterday about a British woman who got raped in dubai and they took her passport off her and arrested her for having sex outside of marriage!!! Disgusting Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Less air going in so less air resistance I'd imagine? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. I don't like that oregan chain, acts like that on the husky 540 as well. I've currently got some efco chains I got from chains directs ebay page, £20 for 5 of them! Can't fault them tbh Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Especially since they've updated them recently so has a hopper that folds down and buttons rather than the bar Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. I reckon the lads towing tanks around the deserts in Africa back in ww2 would have wanted it! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. I'd like to have a go driving one but if remember right they've not got power steering? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Yeah we're forever landing trees on chippers! I think they missed a trick on the 160, not changing the externals at all makes it look really dated compared to the greenmech 130 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Works for me, if they think you're being greedy they'll look elsewhere. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Was that yours? My dad used to take me out in one of those around that time Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. This is very true, if a customer questions why a price is higher than they expect I generally tell them the costs of insurance, fuel, stump grinder teeth replacement cost or whatever is relevant to the job. I know my weekly costs regardless if any jobs get done so it's factored in Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. I've got a rayco rg20 which is similar size, I just drive it up a couple of 3 meter scaffold boards onto the back of a transit. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. How you supposed to know they split if all behind the covers then? Surely if this was the true reason it would make more sense to put in a valve of some description that let some grease out? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. You'd never get the job for that. Too much competition about. 3-350 is fair for both the customer and contractor. Cutting down a few bushes and getting rid of half a load of chip isn't very hard work Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Pretty close then 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. I'd have thought £350. Two of us would have that done by 1 easily if we didn't rush and early day or something else if had anything we could drop onto in the afternoon Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Yup, different setups etc make a big difference. Mashing stuff down into a trailer vs decent chipper easily makes you 3-4 times more productive Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
