  1. that is silly and a PITA. i took my saw into the dealer i bought it from (i prefer to buy face to face for warranty reasons) and they swapped the rattling exhaust off my saw for one they removed from a saw they had new in stock ! That plastic cover that shrouds the zorst is distorted and melting on mine too. Overall a gr8 saw though.
  2. Hi Fredward, is that stretched out brake band the original factory fitted one ? If so Husqvarna shud be made aware of your findings.
  3. LOL and spits chewed up Cadburys whole nut all over the keyboard
  4. i'd be amazed at that sight as the springs would be overstressed and would show it, assuming your running stock springs that is ?
  5. somebody was importing those into the UK a few years back.
  6. palms of his hands more loike
  7. Hello Stan, what enjun do those pop top FJ's come with please ?
  8. Qvatrees ya gunna show us a few pics of this beast please ? If yer running air brakes are you legally allowed to tow 4,200 KG instead of 3,500 ?? Air brakes on a pickup and an airbraked ifor williams trailer wood be noice. Sounds like ya shud do a cheap and simple chip box conversion and keep her as a back up veeeehickle.
  9. we wanna see pics 64treefrog !
  10. nice kit but Gray Git hit the nail on the head.
  11. gr8 bitta kit alright, i have had a TDM850 (almost identical enjun as the TRX) fer the last 13 years and it too is very underrated.
  12. chick pea stew loaded with sausages, bacon, pulses, onion, tomato etc. We cook it up in bulk and freeze it in those chinese type plastic containers which are the right size to heat up and decant into my insulated food flask....keeps the food hot till 3pm if ya have a late lunch break. Pulses with choritzo and chilli's is great on a cold day. We also stew up cheap cuts of beef and i add rice to that, basically any cheap cuts of meat get stewed up and used as a cheap lunch. I always carry an emergency supply of tinned fish, herring, mackerel, sardines etc just in case a job runs over and i have a big climb late in the day and require a 'quick fix'. I make sure i eat really well as i consider it helps to keep me sharp and safe.

    waders

never mind the saw wellies what about leg protection ? personally i put regular waders on and climb in and don't worry about leg or foot protection.......needs must, If the weather ain't too cold i climb in wearing me chainsaw boots and trousers and just get wet.
  14. sounds loike this is the answer then, how and ever i'll never be able to afford one.
  15. are Troopers 3500KG gross ? Be nice to chop an 80 series Landcruiser into a tipper too.
  16. I have manual freewheeling hubs on the front axle of my 15 year old isuzu pickup which means i can 'unlock them' and engage Low range (4L) and only the rear axle is 'driven', this i find invaluable for hauling an overweight trailer up the very steep hills where i live. I wonder if anyone has ever fitted manual freewheeling hubs to the front axle of a Rodeo (2003-2012) or even the latest D Max (2012-present) ???
  17. very noice vehicle Tothby1, I rang Roger Young today on the off chance they could replate my ole truck to 3,500 KG.....they fell over laughing ! It's only the later Dmax like you have that can be replated, even the earlier 2012 Rodeo cannot be replated. I'd love a spacecab version with a tipping body loike yours.
  18. yes some pics please. we're gagging to see this new Isuzu.

  22. we spent the day yesserday in Norf Devon (Braunton), quick drink bout 11am then we took the hounds to Saunton beach as it was a lovely morn. and not too chilly. Twas gr8 to see so many families out strolling about the sands kicking football, walking dogs, surfing etc. Back home for more drinks and presents and the sun came out and it turned out to be a nice bright winters day. Today is grey overcast and dank up in the hills above Tiverton, we don't really mind though.
  23. good thinking there. 3.9 Isuzu with no turbo. you'd make a nice arb tipper out of one of those.
  24. LOL that sounds a bit errrrr dodgy
  25. that 362xp special is a really noice saw as i've seen/touched it...
