  3. No. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. I'll weigh my petrol one and this battery one tomorrow and get back to ya. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Here tis. I dunno if it's deemed a 'pro or domestic model' but it has the AP 300 battery which gives quite a long trigger time. Pic of my neighbour holding it for scale.
  6. James I have a 10 year old Stihl HL75 long reach hedge trimmer and it's good but I recently tried my neighbours stihl lithium ion long reach hedge trimmer and I loved it. I'll hafta look at it again with regards to the spec and report back. I really rate them as there is no messing about with pre mix, filters, fumes and they don't suffer fuel starvation like the petrol ones with 1/3 of a tank of Petrol still in the tank and struggle to run when tilted over and the fuel flows away from the fuel filter pick up. Plus you can use them without ear protection and simply let go of the trigger for a quick chat with yer workmates and not have to pull start it again.
  7. go round and knock on their door, be uber polite, explain the situation, invite them round to your garden for drinks at 6pm, offer to contribute towards the cost of having them removed or trimmed/topped.
  8. apparently you can adjust it or turn it off via the settings menu as someone else on here said they hated it too.
  9. ya I reckon ported and muff modded this saw wood really fly.
  10. Peach = single daughter, i knows it does i do
  11. didn't realise Dan Haggerty (second pic) was stihl climbing trees Silkers? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Haggerty
  12. yep same as meself. As said 'TimbercutterDartmoor' (site member) or Opie Oils supply it.
  13. this is the answer. 360TES is good vfm if a bit heavy. buy the 2511 TES:001_smile:
  14. Beau there shud be a sticker on the saw dipicting the hot start procedure.
  15. Looks great. Did you spec it up with extras? Do they have a diff lock or a LSD on the rear axle? Is it 3.5 ton gross?
  16. Hi Simon, said car may possibly be refunded/exchanged but it would be an epic fight to make this happen. Look at Beau and the grief he had with a brand new Isuzu D Max pickup, i read stuff in the media all the time with customer dis-satisfaction regarding new sub standard vehicles and peoples efforts to get the faults remedied. Reading all the comments in this thread is a bit sobering as these rogue machines are indeed a black mark against the manufacturers and an expensive thorn in the side of the respective business that own or lease them.
  17. Hi I need an extra man this week for 1 day, can be either be Thursday 22nd or Friday 23rd. £100 Ken 07946606093
  18. Blissful here too. I'm sat outside staring at Dartmoor in the distance. Will tinker with kit today and tomorrow as tis too hot fer tree work. Ain't life grand.
  19. they kinda got a cult following now. There is and old one in a village just outside of exeter, looks like it's used daily.
  20. Can't say I agree with you Kevin, I'd have done the very same as Andy as that repair is more than safe enough. A half inch movement is summit we must all deal with at least a couple of times per week. Tree Austria is a good harness though!
  21. Thank you Stubby. Can I apply some to my wrists and neck line ala Brut 33 or Old Spice?
  22. yep I agree but man oh man are they hard to come by as new stocks get depleted quite quickly and I end up having to buy a different brand.
  23. whas it do Stubbers, is it a detergent type stuff that helps clean up carbon deposits?
  24. that cud have cost half a million pounds to build that!
