  1. Cheers chunky, i will have a new one at some point, but for now i'm just throwing myself into work and all the jobs i couldnt do, due to playing with her.
  2. Been mooching around all day. I sadly lost my faithfull dog meg on thursday , and its hit me really hard today. She used to be by my side no matter what i was doing ( as long as it was safe ) or in the van. Today just doing things without her near me has really got to me. Bad day for me really.
  3. Had a good day, been doing a bit of painting (outside wardrobe, i'm making ), put 3 rows of spuds in on the allotment, made some doors for the aforementioned wardrobe, 4 mile walk with the missus and kids, just watched tyson fury boxing, and just fell in love with racheal from countdown after seeing her picture in the favourate tv thread.
  4. Thats brilliant. I really do admire you for that.
  5. My dad has a husqy 135, its a great little saw. I recently did my cs30 with it. Makita's arnt bad little saws that you can get for sub £200. Incidently when i went to the shop to buy my dads husqy, i didnt get ask for my cs30 card.
  6. I'd go for the dolmar, or have a look at picking up a standard makita 6400.
  7. I know the feeling mate !! The wife loved the idea of me being self employed, until i actually went out to work. didnt like me working for women, didnt like me pricing up in the evenings, etc.
  8. Thats just creepy :ahhhhh:
  9. Just googled myself and got this :scared1::scared1:
  10. I find contrasting photos like these fascinating.
  11. If it was me, i'd be buying new parts.
  12. That's the problem, trying to educate people that cheapest is not the best.
  13. Yes all the time, if i'm not cutting for a few minutes (ie moving logs ) the saw gets turned off.
  14. i tried to use it at the weekend, and it was all over the place. Couldn't understand it at all.
  15. I'm well jealous, how many miles do you reckon the engine will be good for.
  16. Let the woman rest in peace.
  17. I wish she was pm now. I'm from a strong mining community and saw first hand the devastation caused by the pit closures, the rioting, the thuggery of the met police up here. The pride of the miners when they went back to work. But if you speak honestly to the old miners now (as i do daily ) they will tell you it should never of happened. Yes my area has gone downhill since, BUT the air is a lot cleaner, there are more small units to rent for small businesses, yes there are call centres and distribution centres, but these have created work. She did good as well as bad. Just leave her alone and let her be.
  18. This is just getting a bit tedious now. If you have permission to collect the deadwood, why do you have to go for it at 4am. Why dont you just buy a cheapo saw to carry out your deads instead of hire / borrowing one. Are you trained to use a saw/ ppe etc Or as someone else said, are you a thief out on the pinch.
  19. I wouldn't even think about wanting to run just yet. I keep changing the style and shape of mine depending on what people want. Nowadays i ask what size people are wanting and make it to their requirements and price accordingly. I make all my stuff in my garage, so i only make things to order now. Wish i could expand, but have no where to expand into. Keep meaning to enquire about workshop rates but as its only a hobby i keep putting it off.
  20. Glad marquez was in there chucking it about, rossi was flying, but for me it was just a case of same old same old.
  21. I'll be watching, but prefer F1 now.
  22. Must admit i like the blood still to be dripping off mine when it hits my plate.
  23. So do you want the use of some else's gear, so if you run into trouble, its not your gear you lose. Why all the secrecy.
  24. Is that man for real !!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Normally i use ply, top and bottom and tongue and groove for sides and back, t & g door to sleep compartment and a frame and mesh door on run side. Just wondered if any body used any thing else. And i'm crap at pricing jobs like these. Them in pet shops look like they last a month at most and cost a fortune, yet when i mention a half decent price, people tend to run to pet shop.
