  3. Would have thought it could be readily adapted for tree surgeon. 2002/02 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110 HI-CAPACITY TD5 WHITE 9975 MLS ONLY | eBay
  4. The title of the thread reminded me of my previous life as a mortgage advisor. Typically when interviewing taxi drivers or takeaway owners, when I asked to see their accounts, they would ask which ones? The real ones or the Inalnd Revenue ones!!!
  5. Here's a post with him on Darren, you could send him a PM http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/firewood-forum/50258-greenman-firewood.html
  6. Is the £2k spend going to make you any extra money Ben? Any money I spend in the business I ask myself will it make me any extra money???
  7. I don't think you will be able to gain funding for CS30 and 31 as I would've thought they would be classed as mandatory training for anyone handling a chainsaw in employment. If training is mandatory you will not get funding towards it. I know this from another sector I work in and our regional RDPE also stated this recently. I think it is a fairly new change as I get funding towards 30 and 31 in 2010. Good luck with your plans.
  8. Average 30mpg in mine. Excellent turning circle, super cab very versatile.
  9. Whilst it does seem unfair that account holders are being hit with this levy, have they ever paid tax on their savings in the past? I don't know the answer to this but if they have not maybe it is time they started - UK account holders have had tax deducted from all credit interest regardless of their balance for many years. The economic problem with a lot of Mediterranean countries has been their reluctance to pay taxes of any sort. When the slump happened I remember hearing a Greek businessman resident in London state for generations the Greeks have avoided paying taxes and now this was coming back to bite them.
  10. PPI calls have moved on to "Did you work in industry which may have effected your hearing?" I reply "Sorry, cannot hear you" and hang up!
  11. My friend has a log grab for a 360, it's big as it was 13 ton machine (I think). I can find out more details if you wish.
  12. Why not have a look at the new Ford Ranger - it's coming out tops in all the comparison reports I've read.
  13. Oooops!! Ta da..... http://offroadaction.ca/:blushing:
  14. Stumbled across this through another post on Facebook. Some fantastic pictures of Dodge Power Wagons - even a woody wagon and a double cab 6x6. I think they look great either all shiny and bright or more traditional looking. Enjoy.
  15. Surely it would have value as firewood rather than just wasting it??
  16. Are the dimensions for the small one not wrong?? 1Hx1Wx1.2L = 1.2 but it looks way smaller than that.
  17. BFGs all the way. I had the old style mud terrains on a Ninety and did 20,000 miles before I sold it - wear was minimal. A friend had BFG ATs on his Jeep and did 65,000miles. My Ranger has its original Michelin LTX ATs on and after 55000 miles the rears are half worn but a front one had worn on the edge due to tracking being out. I have been advised to put the spare (which is new) on the rear along with another new one and put the rears on the front and get the tracking sorted. Trouble is Michelin dont make the tyre now! This sites very good Search Results - 4x4 Tyres and helpful on telephone.
  18. They were in good condition, ages ranged from 6 years to newer and the company who put them in the sale guaranteed them for a week. Did not see the flails though.
  19. Yes you can but don't think capacity would be much either. Leyland DAF 45.150 4x4 Drop Side Cargo Truck for sale/ MOD direct sales, UK
  20. Rich, I would certainly recommend your friend speaks to Consumer Credit Counselling Service as well. When I worked for one of the high street banks we found customers who went to CCCS for assistance rather than CAB had a better experience and their lenders were happier.
  21. Max load Jon is 4200kg,so take off the crane etc and it will be less obviously.
  22. Has he not been to see any advisors either at the Citizens Advice Bureau or the Consumer Credit Counselling Service?
