  15. I haven't used a form for conservation areas... i just send an email off with address and tree location etc.
  16. you don't have to apply in a conservation area.... you just "notify" the council of works to be done, then 6-8weeks turn around, probabilly have an answer before that.
  17. Really good video and a pleasure to watch Is that a job you had to do when subbing? also what rope is that and size? 13mm 45mtr ?12mm etc also you must rate the saw pod? Its nice to reduce with silky's and leave the noisey things in the box lol good to watch
  18. yes they are heavy, have used one when subbing, not sure if i like the finishing cuts made with them, as the oil tank etc can block the view of your cut.....
  19. lots to do...... horses for courses Like has been said, they are quite bad for vibes..... might climb, depends how much to do vs time scale....
  20. Thats what i ment in a roundabout way
  21. Also i'm after the 5 mtr height of cut....
  22. Well, its not i don't like them but i know people that use them that have problems with the 4 mix hedge trimmers etc..... very unreliable starting, like to eat spark plugs.... one tree surgeon told me he was gutted his old ht75 hedge trimmer was nicked and he got a hl95 4 mix as a replacement! Also only want to spend 300-350 max as its only an occasional use
  23. 35-40 yards max range really, and it depends how dark the night is also, but theyre good and its horses for courses
