    Trade ins

    its not in the interests of a dealer to sell a 2nd hand saw... they may not earn a lot on selling a new saw... but if any work needs doing its warrenty billed to manufacturor... selling a 2nd hand saw... then customer comes back saying its not right it comes out of dealers pocket.... and its more hassle with the 2nd hand saw hows the dealer supposed to tell how much use, by who, and how someone has used the saw?
  4. Wow. Now that was a failure! The wood at the bottom of the split looks suspect.... any fruiting bodies etc? How did you deal with that thick black electric cable? For future reference for me. Did it need turning off? Or as it was down does this knock the power off? (No sarky comments please from anyone)

  6. yup, i'm with dave on this. Seen, tried and felt the 540xp.... sounds hideous to me aswell, didn't like it at all It'll be another 201t for me when the time comes. My 201t is brilliant no complaints at all! Feels like a step forwards from the 200t's to me, the feel and the av etc. No going back

  15. Just wondering what stump grinders weigh? Like rayco 1620/1625, vermeer 206, predator 28 etc? Wondering if a 750kg trailer was suitable or would it have to be a plant trailer. Cheers
  16. I enquired a while back about changing my tw150 until the PRAT at orange plant insulted me on trade in price for my chipper. Must have thought i came down on yesterdays rain shower.... They can shove business as far as im concerned now

  18. Just curious to know what size trailers people are using and for what purpose? I currently use a little 750kg trailer 7x4 for delivering logs etc We all know 3.5t tippers dont have best.payload so what do you put behind them or the 4x4? Cheers
