  1. Used one. For light crown lifling etc.... Personally dont see what the fuss is about. Needing a tool to do fuel and oil caps. Chain adjuster in chain brake cover sounded like it had a broken exhaust... also with the compression it takes one hell of a pull to start.... I dont want one at all
  2. Good bus then, was panicing there for a second! Hopefully you got some decent floor mats and seat covers thrown in!
  3. Does it have cup holders though johnny?
  4. Agreed +2 But i will say if we ran from everything that presents itself in life we wouldnt move forwards! Information is key
  5. Is that 100% on the mortgage rob?
  6. Was re asked about this job this morning! Never got round to it somehow..... Clients wanting to sell the house, so i'm back looking for answers There is also a weeping willow in the garden, the client keeps clearing the stuff but thinks its going to put off potential buyers which it probably is! Not sure i want to get involved... don't want to transfer any back up home on gear or on my person...
  7. Yes is a spring off switch. Push it forwards. Saw off. Release and it flips back to on position. So pull pull start and away you go I think the chain tension adjuster in the chainbrake cover is a bad move...
  8. Same sort of boat as you... apart from budget. Im going to get a mac mini and change phone to an i phone when due for upgrade soon. Sick of crappy slow computers

    ported 150T

I know.... whats wrong with some people on here? Fresh behind the ears and struggle with a 200t all day.... whats the world coming to? Its a pruning saw for reductions and delicate cuts woth a brilliant finish. Why do fifty 2" cuts qith silky when you can do with the little 150. Saving so much energy. Think twice. Work smart And leave the 150 at home for dismantles... times money
  10. What about exhaust port or exhaust bunged up. Coked up... been ran on rich mix by previous owner?
  11. Jammy bugger! Well done!
  12. Come on. Wheres the tree work? Lol. Its turned into jeremy kyle on here lol
  13. Think hes an 7840 man? Or an 8340.... canny remember. I like my deere 3040
  14. Mines a 4 t trailer. 10x5 or 10x6 wish it was bigger. Put geeedy sides on etc... good size for access just suffers on volume a little
  15. Dont have pressure vac stuff This is a 3rd saw so dont want to spend much on it
  16. Took apart. Cleaned everything. All looks fine. Comp test 150psi Ran for a while reved ok... left running.... then reved full on and it struggled at top end a little reved but stuttered once or twice. Then went down to a fast idle when i let go... Checked warm temp comp and it was 140psi... Time for a piston and carb? Zama carb on Trying to see if its worth me bothering with or spares or repairs. Cheers
  17. An older ms200t being a pain in the arse..... i said on here a month or so ago it was playing up.... re adjusted carb and was ok... started playing up yet again today..... sat at idle then high reving like an air leak etc.... also has it ever been known to happen that the carb screws turn themselves? anyhow cant be arsed with it now! its my hedge saw.... pita!
  18. he says he'd cut them back hard now in his second bit of his post
  19. Would sit quite forwards on the tractor so weight on the front axle to consider..... but tbh 1/2 tonne of wood is a biggish bit of wood! so that'd be max weight ish... maybe 1 t max lift.... More for loading multiple rings/logs into and putting in trailer... As for front axle loading... it'd only be like a front 3pl lifting buck rake and other stuff etc...
  20. Yes its a mf 80 power loader, inc brackets which one goes under the belly in middle of the tractor and one is bolted at the weight block. Its to go on a john deere 3040 6cyl..... So it would need extending a little, take weight block off and hopefully front holes line up. Then at the rear brackets, cut the belly bit off and weld some decent plates to go down the side of the chassis. Maybe a bar to go up the sides of the engine and linked over the bonnet to stop twist etc... i like the loader due to being a quick hitch one... on pins and qf adapters
  21. Knock em back into a smaller frame work and manage from there
  22. Yeah, getting a loader to fit a different tractor.... I have original brackets for mounting the loader to the original tractor. It would be a case of cutting part of the brackets off, welding on some plate etc and bolting up..... Although not as simple as being said
  23. I used to run a 25" on one when i needed a long while ago.... it did it, was just a little slow. so for your appliction, everynow and again it would be fine..... don't go for a 30 though.....
  24. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has ever gone down the route of modifying a loader to fit a tractor? Fabricating new brackets etc? Cheers
  25. Any one use a Mac Mini? Love the size of them
