  4. Think hes an 7840 man? Or an 8340.... canny remember. I like my deere 3040
  5. Mines a 4 t trailer. 10x5 or 10x6 wish it was bigger. Put geeedy sides on etc... good size for access just suffers on volume a little
  6. Dont have pressure vac stuff This is a 3rd saw so dont want to spend much on it
  7. Took apart. Cleaned everything. All looks fine. Comp test 150psi Ran for a while reved ok... left running.... then reved full on and it struggled at top end a little reved but stuttered once or twice. Then went down to a fast idle when i let go... Checked warm temp comp and it was 140psi... Time for a piston and carb? Zama carb on Trying to see if its worth me bothering with or spares or repairs. Cheers
  8. An older ms200t being a pain in the arse..... i said on here a month or so ago it was playing up.... re adjusted carb and was ok... started playing up yet again today..... sat at idle then high reving like an air leak etc.... also has it ever been known to happen that the carb screws turn themselves? anyhow cant be arsed with it now! its my hedge saw.... pita!
  9. he says he'd cut them back hard now in his second bit of his post
  10. Would sit quite forwards on the tractor so weight on the front axle to consider..... but tbh 1/2 tonne of wood is a biggish bit of wood! so that'd be max weight ish... maybe 1 t max lift.... More for loading multiple rings/logs into and putting in trailer... As for front axle loading... it'd only be like a front 3pl lifting buck rake and other stuff etc...
  11. Yes its a mf 80 power loader, inc brackets which one goes under the belly in middle of the tractor and one is bolted at the weight block. Its to go on a john deere 3040 6cyl..... So it would need extending a little, take weight block off and hopefully front holes line up. Then at the rear brackets, cut the belly bit off and weld some decent plates to go down the side of the chassis. Maybe a bar to go up the sides of the engine and linked over the bonnet to stop twist etc... i like the loader due to being a quick hitch one... on pins and qf adapters
  12. Knock em back into a smaller frame work and manage from there
  13. Yeah, getting a loader to fit a different tractor.... I have original brackets for mounting the loader to the original tractor. It would be a case of cutting part of the brackets off, welding on some plate etc and bolting up..... Although not as simple as being said
  14. I used to run a 25" on one when i needed a long while ago.... it did it, was just a little slow. so for your appliction, everynow and again it would be fine..... don't go for a 30 though.....
  15. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has ever gone down the route of modifying a loader to fit a tractor? Fabricating new brackets etc? Cheers
  16. Any one use a Mac Mini? Love the size of them
  17. been meaning to do this for a few years... hmmmm
  18. Hi all, My laptops going totally wonk! Really need to replace it this week or next... All i do is do invoices, quotes, banking, internet and have plenty of photographs. My stumbling block is i know nothing about computers or what to get! I want something decent, that lasts more than 2 bloody years (if thats possible) hate computers that are slow etc..... I use microsoft word etc.... i've found out that computers dont even come with that anymore? ha! rediculous! Want something PURELY for business.... so desktop not laptop.... seen apple mac mini... that looks good seen a lenovo in argos that the computers built into the screen... that looked good. What do i go for? im stuck. What do i have to spend to get no hassle? Ideally around 400.00 mark.... but not sure if thats level entry/rubbish stuff? any help greatly appreciated Chris
