  1. used my high lift for getting roots out, if you have an anchor point even better as you can use it like a winch, cut any stubborn roots off with old axe/grub axe, job done
  2. dont bother unless the ground is sandy, you hit a root or a flint and its painfull at best,i really dont think they are of much use unless you have the 2 man job for large posts and even then i would prefer to have a hydraulic one on a machine, imho dont bother with a one man auger, more trouble than its worth.
  3. rosate 360 or gallop 360 (glyphosate) will do the job
  4. have nexen roadian mud tyres on my ranger, great off road, bit noisy on road, £400 fitted
  5. when i got it ,it had air suspension fitted, dug around in its history and it was a fire and rescue vehicle, found some pictures of it when it was new,the back had interchangeable pods(flood, caving, hazardous material etc) hence the air suspension to lower the back down to change the pods also found all the wiring etc for light bar , strobes etc., still had siren attached but not wired up. the system was getting a bit tired so i put it back to conventional leaf springs
  6. milner off road, changed my ranger from air suspension to h/d leaf springs, full to the gunwhales with green ash rings, looked like i had a bag of feathers in the back, bouncy when empty though
  7. contact bunnybasher100 on here, he has had similar issues with his 550,think he changed carb under warranty
