yep i had a dolmar 9010, 30 inch bar, no problems but like shavey said, no racehorse but bags of torque, bit on the heavy side if you are taking it up a tree but a perfect ground/ringing up saw

oops, just bought a jonny 2188 from across the pond, £700 inc shipping, probably have to pay £70 customs but i think a bargain !?

can anyone recommend a small chipper, ie to go through gateways, i dont want a full on 6" plus job, just something to do small jobs and that will fit in back of transit, 3 " max chip capacity would probably do

Not arb but landscaping, Looking for help within my business,for an enthusiastic person, to help with , mowing,strimming,hedge cutting,weeding,planting, general garden maintenance.etc Experience would be good , but can train also, driving licence would be really good but maybe not essential. Ideally local to me (eastleigh,romsey,southampton,winchester etc. Maybe there is someone out there who needs a few days a week, maybe more, or full time ? Worth having a chat over a beer or a coffee ? Give me a pm, guys and gals all welcome. cheers mike

jonny 2171 great saw, ive got 4 jonsered saws,2165 is the same as old 365, gut on ebay is selling 2171,s for £599 free delivery, you could do a lot worse

460 is tried and tested ! another blinder of a saw, but maybe overkill, adds a bit of weight and a few cc's, plus a few £££'s

best bet is to have a go with both, im a husky fan for saws, but use stihl for hedge cutters and blowers so i cant say im a true husky follower, personal choice i suppose, what dealerships have you got near you ? might swing it either way , id still go 365/372 tho lol

its always better to have more than you need, maybe 372 xp, blinder of a saw, will pull 15" like a mad man but more than happy on a 20" and will pull a 24" for the bigger stuff if needed

husky,flymo,mc culloch , jonsered all owned by electrolux, i believe jonsered and dolmar were around before husqvarna (chainsaws anyway ) please correct me if im wrong and correct me if im wrong again but arnt some solo saws made by dolmar ??

dolmar, or jonsered, jonsered was its own company before being marketed under electrolux so can get away with that one !

i made a side rack for transit,partitioned for hand tools/fuel cans etc, left top open for loppers/shears/sprayer etc, still plenty of room for mowers, made some hooks on other side to hang steps on,other hooks for coats etc, but no matter what i do i always need more room !
