  1. on my second one,old one probably fired 100,000 nails before it started messing about, great investment, Tip.......keep the gas warm, gas wont vapourize in really cold weather, have 2 gas tubes , keep 1 in the warm or under arm pit etc

  4. yep, i got mine from the states, 28" full skip,delivered £26.00, means if my big saw breaks down,i can run 28" on my 372 comfortably

  15. straight runs are 2.4 m wide ive added 10% to materials, i do a lot of work for the company that needs the liner installing, just an infill job at the moment until the site is ready for me to do annual maintenance contract, starting april
  16. 900 m2 ,mixture of small rectangle beds and 2 x 85 m straight runs, 2.4m wide, pegs and liner come out at £1.63 m2 for heavy duty
  17. need to quote to lay liner underneath bark beds. i have to quote only to lay the liner,i have gone with £1.00 per meter to lay it ,and £1.63 to supply liner and pegs. have i just shot:thumbup myself in the foot with this quote:thumbup:
  18. i always say that if they could do the job themselves then they would, if they are paying someone to do it for them, they cant, charge for every bit of time that you spend doing the job for them
  19. i had to make an octagonal deck, i made a scale model from battens for the frame and then replicated in in full size, turned out great
  20. gonna say that fence is pretty poor, no proper strainers that i can see, pop the staples out and fell on top of the wire, if you drop the wire right back , say 75 m, it shouldnt stretch , if you smash a post, they are only a couple of £ a go
  21. can a self employed person work just solely for me on a self employed basis ? as long as he/she do their own accounts and fund their self employment/business, do hmrc have issues with this:confused1:
  22. Those poly decks are bombproof,any of the aforementioned machines are great, but like others have said 65kg is lumpy, i have ramps up into the van for my sarp 19"

  24. that being said, if i had to cut a 30" say beech or oak at double bar length, i would not want to do it with a 40cc saw , id be looking 60cc at least for grunt and speed sorry to confuse op
