  1. Thought that as alright especially if you've only just done your 41. How are you finding the makita? I used one on a spar rigging demo and was very impressed.
  2. nice set of pics and nice drop on half the tree.
  3. <p>Just checked your website out and thought your gallery was awesome <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /></p>

  4. A starting point would be to google SEO Search engine optimization and make sure you get your head around it. Spending money to make your website more SEO friendly is key as i think its 3% before google penalize you these days. So basically saying tree surgeon, tree killing, trees topped. You'll be penalized for using tress too much. Meta tags are kind of out dated but still worth doing if you have the time. Social media linking especially twitter is a good way to get up google searches because its constantly in the loop of everything thats going on. Facebooks much harder work but will still pay off if you have the time to get into the 1000's. Oh and kind of like twitter but i hate having too do it is Blogging. Dull and hard to keep the SEO % down so can take an hour to write 500 words. Hope this helps. Oh use free tools to check your site like key word density checker.
  5. Hey Chris, Cheers for taking the time to write this, i will be looking at 7500kgs lorries soon as my transit just isnt big enough. Ian
  6. Had to go get my Frisbee today 174ft Kapoc tree, google it to see the thorns
  7. A car full of pandas or a car made from panda skin........
  8. See ive done it another way a few times. I'll get some pics up tomorrow hopefully.
  9. Yeah it has its advantages in the sometimes ways you wouldnt think it would.
  10. Bugger, well i'll come say hello and do the charity climb.
  11. But toothpaste is nothing without a toothbrush I thought it was a great product but sadly for me i dont cut enough hedges to warrant the investment. i think i cut 10 or less hedges a year because the "good old boys" near me do them for £4.50 per hour.
  12. Third-ed, but if you pantin just climb slower so you dont run out of breathe? Jake if you want and are happy to head up nofolk when were having a climb you should come have a climb, rw, hh and unis are normally about.
  13. Hi, Firstly and most importantly take into account google searches. For example: leafboy trees in comparison to London trees. I know its kind of an extreme example but think of what your customer is going to google. Personally i dont think I Flatters tree surgery is good mainly because ive always felt like the customer tries to knock you down on price if they can. As Target Trees i can say i dont set the pricing and thats that. Anything with Trees, trees, or where you live, county are all good starting points. I know your asking about names but i think what is above is especially these days very important in the decision making process. Double barreling is good as its more memorable. But its really whatever you choose, if hes really well known his name might be more beneficial. But most importantly check the domain names is free before you pick it because sooner or latter you might want a website. Hope this helps Ian
  14. Tree Surgeons convertible you mean? "take the top down and go for a ride"
  15. Hey Charlie, im arriving the day before to setup but having to leave the 1st evening because im at the Holkham Fair the next day. Might see if i can wangle some time to come over and have a bash, gutted i couldnt free up any time to get up the cedar at the aa fair.
  16. Quality result there, nice job and i bet the client was beaming
  17. Personally, i thought thats your best one yet and tell your groundy i said he was spot on with the rigging, enjoyed watching it.
  18. As a service i think it can be hard for people to grasp, some may do stuff in half the time and be vastly cheaper than the other. It just depends on what your setup is, the market is always ruled by peoples judgement, a client might ask you to prune a couple of branches but a better tongued company owner might convince them to do something else be it cheaper or more expensive. I see it as a subjective pricing system but ultimately its just business and whatever value someone has on it is up to them really. Where i am people charge between £380.00-£420.00 for 2 guys and a chipper per day a bit more if chapter 8 is required. Thats the rough price and no vat added because most are under the vat threshold. My opinion but the way i see it. Sorry if you dont agree.
  19. A few from this week so i guess not strictly today A ustulina beech fell, done and cleared in a few hours with the digger to move the timber for sale on monday. A few fells in a long back garden, using the winch saved hours of back breaking work and lost time.
  20. Nice pics Benn, Finally i get a picture from abroad that doesnt make me full of envy when i look outside at the sky.
  21. Like a chameleon, *laughs like evil villain of your choice* Strokes cat on lap, and cut to Adams laughter
  22. haha the Farm near me has almost the same jib for their merlo, we use it to move timber onto the woodmizer. Not bad work, keep the videos coming.
  23. Well done guys, i remember sitting mine a good number of years ago now, best and hardest thing i ever did. Opened a lot of doors and even allowed me to move sideways in my career for a bit. P.s Ben see Woodfest as your Passing your resit gift from me. Next year we have to make the effort for the highland show!!
