  1. Yeah basically, as it wears you use a bigger line and so on and so forth until it need to be sent back for a re-build. I have an account with a company and a few others wanted one after having a go on mine and dans so i put a large order in.
  2. Video should be live in 30mins
  3. ive started on 11mm so i'll move rope size as wear occurs. just bought a few today though 6 to be exact. :thumbup1:
  4. the throwline one?? Anyway all mine are still on the hard drive doing the rounds done a small video today in the end.
  5. Like dan said using rope weight or a light foot wrap. Saves burning your hands up. and allowed me to clear 38m in about 40 seconds.
  6. A couple from The Gambia Most the pictures are Dan Curtis and Jack Price with 2 being mine.
  7. Well after bombing out of some 40m trees i decided that it gets rather hot but much better than a hitch. I found that with a lot of rope weight below you can run it in decent (slowly) without needing to use your hands.
  8. Had to leave her to race up for the sunset.
  9. We got Young Mr Price to knock on her door later. we have in the region of 9500 stills and around 30-40 clips of footage. So it might take a while but i will let others post theirs and i will only post mine once i have all the data i will make a documentary too.
  10. So whilst on a project we were approached by 2 ladies who were professional travel bloggers. After a bit of banter they were convinced to come on an evening climb with us, heres the blog. The day I became a forest chump at Mandina Lodges
  11. Im not being funny but that doesnt look very tricky from the pics, lots of trees to attach to if your worried, slow and easy for yourself and it will get you better experience. Whats the climbing line doing in one of the last pics. Can you give a pic over the fences because it looks weird im assuming the fence line is outside the tree belt?? Cut and chuck looks fine from the pics. Root plate from the pics showed a raised area but no instant danger form a sudden windthrow. Just my pennies worth on the pics, do it yourself, it may take a long day but you'll be a better climber after it unless your only a groundsman? then a climber is what you need.
  12. Just about to leave Norfolk.
