  8. Its the prototype of the zk2 so i dont really want to sell it, plus im going to see how it reacts mixed up with the uni.
  9. Ringing up timber is the killer. Removed a medium sized oak today possibly (roughly the same size as yours) on the coast 21mph winds so i decided to go big and get home. Worked well but the crown sections were flapping around a fair bit.
  10. In fairness its taken us since MOG uploaded his tree swing video to find a suitable location. So around 14 months. Were going to do it in the summer again this time using a higher swing line with a shallower leveling angle so should get a fair bit higher.

  12. A Couple of pictures for ya
  13. Steve Townsend did, me and dan lifted the line. Hauling a line this way was much heavier than one would expect. 126ft we travelled on the first couple of swings.

  15. I know a link to one of those other sites Old mills, why the base anchor on a removal? i find its more of a PITA.
  16. Yeah thats where we got the idea from. Lots of fun, especially after we worked out how to make an "air time" zone. Despite the 20mph winds and snow it was a great deal of fun and one were planning on doing during the summer again.
  17. Play scrabble but someone stole the vowels.
  18. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjPHYfJH3FQ]Worlds Biggest Tree Swing - YouTube[/ame]
  19. So we climbed to 80-85ft wellies today and sideways moving snow. the trees were 32m apart so we built a self leveling swing at just over 70ft. Added a landy as a haul system and you have a swing distance of over 40m Heres a link to the album Facebook Videos to be added later
  20. We may have made the worlds biggest tree swing with anchor points of 80ft.
  21. I will see in the morning. But a snowy climb of a welly sounds quite appealing to me
  22. So its official i have more SRT devices the Honeys Old Mills. So ive been giving the uni my full attention and all i can say is if your thinking about srtwp the a rope wrench is a great way to get into it as i think just going for a uni would of had a few poo pants moments. But having those years on it made the transition well no biggie. An amazing piece of equipment, honestly superb.
  23. I have a Adam Bourne tether at 10" perfect length on a wrench imo. But in fairness i havent even picked my wrench up since moving to a unicender.
  24. Best pictures yet.
  25. tomorrow 9am salhouse church meeting point youll see the wellies from their 400m walk.
