  7. I was hoping the MEWP thing was only added last year because of all the rain stopping the felling?? Not be horrible but it was rather dull and very boring and in my honest opinion a bit of a drain as well a lot of people got pretty much the same times. Just my feeling towards that even.
  8. I use my tripod ladders when trimming topiary trees, but for most jobs im with Mr Stockbridge.
  9. i was running 3 wraps 2 braids with a vt. Found armour pruss was best and my tether is 10" so the hitch sat 2cm below the wrench.
  10. A few from fridays job
  11. Cheers Dave, Any pros/cons in comparison to just using a crab? Ian
  12. Could you not drop the phoneline? its only 3 connectors, take a pic and wire the same back up? just a cheaper thought.
  13. That beech hitting the water is awesome!
  14. Hi dave, it could be something as simple as defragmenting your computer, although if the files are as big as the gopro you need some memory to allow background tasks to work. I need to add more space to mine as i have 490gb of tree work related footage. I know, i know im a loser Sometime downloading a free compressor file can sort these problems, i compress everything from 1080p to 720p for youtube as it can only really cope with 720p and you only need higher if you using a projector or a huge ass flat screen tv. Hope this helps or gives some ideas, oh also clear you internet cache as this takes some background tasks space which could free up the glitches
  15. Dmc, Question about your avatar can you explain the splice into the connection point? Cheers Ian
  16. I think if im making a video and going to the effort of making it, why not, the general public might even respect our job is not gardening and cutting grass but skillful and well cool.
  17. 4 in one night?
  18. Nice video paul, that beech was in a tight spot. maybe add a website link in the next?? ive picked up 5 jobs last year from youtube. The googled tree removal with the idea of doing it themselves.
  19. 04 plate and ive just got a new gear box gong in 130.000 miles and shes had a hard life, 60% of the time off road on sites.
  20. I did have to ask jack though
  21. 3:1 or 6:1 lift, pulley above the hitch VT then pull on the strop to release.
  22. Todays job, Water temp stopped us from working today so i got the photo shoot out the way so i can crack on with the testing. Heres a few of them
  23. DEAL! James you made me chuckle quite a bit, next they will be asing for a ladder class
  24. Same, i use the 60cm (30cm length) lyon sling for my redirects only use dmm revolvers though as i think they are best.
