  18. As in Risk Assessment. Sometimes I'm base anchored in for access then switch to a top anchor with a alpine and a choked sling. So if the worst happens, nothing happens to my main lines safety. Other times I've been able to base anchor off a tree away from the drop zone/workzone and once i threw it through a beech tree to raise the line to 15ft is before i climbed to clear it of the work area.
  19. He wanted to know what it was like to be a fairy on the top of the christmas tree.
  20. in fairness adam, I've heard it a number of times and only from people that haven't tried SRT or are wanting to voice an idea of why they haven't tried it. Base Anchors are safe as long as its pointed out. Its new and people love to speculate about stuff they've not tried, good, bad or quickly thought. I have spoken to a few assessor's at shows around the country who wanted to see how it worked compared to DRT
  21. Seems like you got a pain of a job done nicely. Were you only running a tag line haul back? The only thing i thought was you might of been able to run the break from the stem.
  22. No one mentioned the force at fixed point A then?
  23. Surely you should have a wireless remote control box for the hiab crane strapped to you
