  1. Reviewing the Hitch Hiker, still dont think anything has came close to working a stem on spikes than the uni.
  2. As a few have said before, like the truck. To be honest i skipped through bits of the video but i do that on every video.
  3. A few from this year. i know ive shared a few before but decided to again.
  4. Same. Got work to do i can chase calls when i get back to the yard. Oh yeah and thats the reason why i didnt put arbtalk on my mobile. id be on it a lot.
  5. Hi Everyone, So im looking to expand my freelancer list as the others are pretty busy. All you need to do is PM me your experience, knowledge and plus your day rate price. Maybe something about some recent contracting and to whom? Now a word to the wise and im sorry if it comes across as bit rude/harsh/arrogant but i have had a few people of late tell me how they can do this and that and are amazing and want top dollar...... But havent been. Now im fine with this but it will reflect in your day rate once it has been talked about if you can't. So im very happy to take on lower experienced people and hopefully teach you some new stuff and im happy to take on experienced guys who'll teach me a thing or two. If you want to ask anyone whos worked for me on this forum they are Adam Bourne, Jack Price, Dan Curtis, James Hoddy and Frosty + 3 other whos user names i cannot remember off the top of my head.
  6. Nice video, cheers for taking the time to make it and share it.
  7. Link should be up in a few days, hope nathan might be able to drop some pics of it on here.
  8. Some of you may have already read this article that Adam Bourne wrote. If you have do you have any feedback.
  9. And thats the reason if the HH or UNI have a catastrophic failure you could plummet but on the RW your well stuck. Im thinking of a way to add a sneaky back up in like you could do with a klemheist on a UNI.
  10. I liked that video, but had to watch it after the VVS video
  11. The beard of destiny will return for this winter!! :001_tt2:
  12. Expensive editing that is. Nice video and what id imagine you to look like with a more manly beard
  13. A couple from today, Dead willow leaning over the river. I decided to leave some pegs so i could trap the branches and timber away from the river. Then felled this beech growing against a wall. Home by 3pm
  14. Maybe it is, or is it. Do you go on 3 or after 3?? Anyway, good win, good win.
  15. Indeed they are, even before patch owned them in 2010 at British Championship in yorkshire i think. I can see this season being a bit like films at the moment, Stalone & Statham are very cool so..... Lightfoot & Flatters (obviously i have to be statham even though im a wee bit older than you i have less hair). Seniors is where the real rumble in the jungle is happening. Plus all the married men are in it except Rob Mays. Big hugs Ian "Im way better at climbing poles than Jason Statham" Flatters
  16. Told you, you would need to remind me.
  17. A quick removal, even though the drop zone was smaller than one would like, it still had plenty of room as most the branches were easily directed.
  18. 1 man, chipper, taking no chip home, £280.00 is what id charge if its travel isnt taking the P.
  19. So she arrived a few weeks ago but ive been so busy, ive not been up a tree. Today she went out for 3hrs work. So.. my limited review so far (comparison to the other devices). The HH imo is much better then the RW, especially limb walking and better on returning than the UNI. Ascents its about the same as the RW but feels easier to use due to its compact design. But the UNI blows this out of the water as it should for ascents. Speed of the decent its better than the RW as it gets into its rhythm quicker, not as good as the UNI on full chaff but equally as good in Control mode. It does take a bit longer to setup but then it will for the first few times.
  20. A bit of a re-balance on a walnut then making safe and Aspen failure.
  21. Mark were you really trying out this fangled fracture pruning. On a real note, surprised the shed stayed up.
  22. Great set of pics Ian, especially the 1st.
  23. I guess you could say its a stunt fell. I worked on one 2 years ago and they were worse than most my everyday clients, dont dent that bit of grass, dont dent this bit of grass, the sand bunker has a special PGA type sand... Needless to say i now steer clear of golf course work. So basically, they worry about grass like a client and a greenhouse.
