I dont want to sound negative about the unclipping but you should never put yourself or other in an unknown risk by rigging something out that worries you enough to unclip and have concerns about the anchor. A correctly spread anchor point shouldnt heave stems together that much. I've said my pennies worth not looking for a justification just pointing out to newbiees thats its not really what you should do.

    30fps it shouldnt be jumpy, might be the size of the file on your computer vs current running programs. I bought a new comp a couple of years ago because of this. Software wise a lot see to use either sony, windows movie maker or i movie. I personally use final cut pro 10 but then again i use it 2-3 times a month on other projects so its worth the investment for me. Dont assume the software min spec relates to the file size of the recording.
