  8. mud terrains if you have the money, who cares about the extra noise and fuel consumption, at least you shouldnt get stuck.. oh did you say trooper.?
  9. sideslopes huh? just dont let your centre of gravity get past the downhill extremities of the vehicle while taking into consideration the extra weight of the weight transfer on bumps/corners. simple
  10. chronologically gifted arborists? old farts then?
  11. i will never buy a new car again, its so disapointing coming back to extra dints etc, had an 18mth old car hit by a reversing lefthand drive lorry who pushed it into the volvo behind and pushed that into car behind in a line of parked cars outside where i used to work, needless to say he didnt stop.. lastyear a clown in one of them softroader type jap trucks swerved into my lane on a dual carriageway ripping his wing nearly off on the landy(i guess my plastic arch crumpled so he hit tyre), i was in a good mood so didnt even stop to check it and there was barely a scuff when i got home.
  12. theres a lot of roadside syccies looking sicky round here at the mo.. leaves turning brown and curling up, i had to look up the date to see if it was autumn already:biggrin:, salt makes sense as well as lack of rain earlier in the year.

  16. no slugs are cool, they clean my patio every night, after the dogs have eaten raw meat they take away the sticky patches.. i agree not nice when you pick up a log thats been on the ground overnight and squish one with bare hands, or under the lip of a plantpot when clearing for a fell..
  17. i hate them popup ads when a vid starts..
  18. really? i find ginsters a bit gristle-ey.
  19. the first one is a mushroom, very edible, the last few i found happened to fall into my fryingpan with hot oil for 30seconds per side, i tried in vain to rescue them with a fork but they fell one after the other into my mouth:thumbup:.. mmm, eat on day of appearance and check for maggots by removing stem, peel before cooking..
  20. january cost me 3k just for the discovery.. then things started to go downhill, imagine how bad it would be if i had to spend all that and the shame of driving an LDV too:001_tt2:
  21. sorry i thought it was uphill northbound? meaning most ldv's end up broken down waaay down south as they try going north?
  22. had disco clutch done this year and 110 lastweek, i'll bring the caravan if you can find a tracked chipper rob.. think we will get away with towing caravan behind chipper on trailer?
  23. times must be hard if you need a tow from an ldv, what motor has clutch gone on?
